Oh look!-another commentary on the male pill
This is a little dated as it was made a couple of months ago but it is a perfect example of why we in most of the western world do not have a male oral contraceptive.
Talk of the male pill comes up in the news and someone wants to do a commentary on it. Okay, so whom do they ask to give a commentary? An advocate for men's birth control options? Or for that matter even a man? No! They bring on an ex whore to be the commentator. And then they go on to spout out the oh so predictable bigoted drivel that we hear from the gynocentric press when talking about the male pill: men will lie, men will forget, men are too stupid to realize that taking an oral contraceptive doesn't prevent STDs etc......
Every time I see something like this I want to puke. Just for once I would like to face these bigots on camera and tell them what a MAN thinks about the male pill.

Re: Oh look!-another comentary on the male pill
Lying? What possible reason could a man have for lying about taking the pill?men will lie, men will forget, men are too stupid to realize that taking an oral contraceptive doesn't prevent STDs etc......
It is not in his best interest to get a woman pregnant.
Forget? The only people from whom there is any evidence at all about forgetting to take the pill, are WOMEN.
Men Stupid? This from the gender that thinks jumping up and down will prevent pregnancy and taking a homoeopathic 'medicine' will cure cancer.

Can anyone tell me if there was an outcome to that intellectual battle?

Husband : "I had a dream too...I dreamt they were auctioning off pussy. The pretty ones went for a thousand dollars, and the little tight ones went for two thousand."
Wife : "And how much for the ones like mine?"
Husband : "That's where they held the auction."

Re: Oh look!-another comentary on the male pill
This is more projection than anything based in reality. Many women (and political strategists, feminists, lawyers, legal parasites etc) are terrified of men gaining control of their bodies and losing the ability to become pregnant whenever and by whom they choose. We're talking about a curtailing of what is a very lucrative business to certain devious women.men will lie, men will forget, men are too stupid to realize that taking an oral contraceptive doesn't prevent STDs etc......Last edited by Celtic Druid; 24th-March-2010 at 05:27 PM.

by the way.
The real fear, and I will say this to anybody, is that men will actualy use the pill.because a woman would never lie about not being on the pill or forget it...

Re: Oh look!-another comentary on the male pill
Thants right Bro you nailed it in one, however I would not use it unless I knew for absoulte certenty that the male pill was safe, I member heard a little while ago that they were testing a male pill in india and that it cuase mutations in children when the test subject staopped taking it started having children, also who knows what this pill will do to the male labido.
I could not be surpised that the powers that be would make it so a man can't get a hard on unless it took and had to continue taking a counter agent, something like viargra or some shit like that as a way of not only contorling men but the world's popluation as wellWhen the femanazis tell me it's their way or the highway I tell them to fuck off and die, because at lest the highway leads to new and intresting places, their ways is a dead end.

Re: Oh look!-another comentary on the male pill
I know, that makes no sense at all. That is stupid even by feminist standards, a whole new level of anti-logical bunk.
Even if a man did forget to take it, there is nothing to prevent a woman from taking hers - I would prefer that if I took it, any woman I was with would also take hers as an extra precaution.
That is indeed the real fear. This pill, especially if combined with condoms, could well reduce unplanned and unwanted pregnancies to a negligible amount. (Note "unplanned" means unplanned by the man, while "unwanted" means unwanted by the woman after her plans to trap the man don't go as expected.) This would make a large part of the feminist agenda irrelevant - there would be virtually no demand for abortion, and a drastically reduced caseload for child support. Harder to say about welfare - whether or not most men who impregnate welfare mothers would be responsible enough to take this (especially if they have no money of their own, or at least none where the state can find it) is less of a certainty than it is for the rest of us. Still, there is hope that a large enough percentage of poor, underclass men could be convinced to use the pill that it would make a dent in the welfare state - since while welfare fathers may not suffer penalties for producing children they can't support, they, unlike welfare mothers, do not directly benefit from such children.
If any of the above would come to pass, even partially, it would make many of the myths about female victimhood harder to swallow and would certainly hurt feminist recruitment efforts. I can see some feminists trying to reclaim victim status by telling men they want to get pregnant, then when they do claim that their are pregnancies devastating accidents caused by men who took advantage of them (threatening to file false rape charges if the men tell the truth). I doubt they will get that many men to go along with getting them pregnant in the first place, but that is something to be on the lookout for.Last edited by Meadester; 24th-March-2010 at 10:04 PM.
