Generic Rules

Antimisandry.com Forum rules as of December 10th, 2007

You pretty much have free reign to say whatever you want, within reason of course. The only real exception is personally attacking others. That will not be tolerated. If you disagree, and it becomes a heated discussion, turn up the flames and go at it....respectfully. Just leave out the personal attacks and slanderous remarks as outlined below out.

Discriminatory remarks & personal attacks will not be tolerated. This includes, but is not limited to the following (in alphabetical order):

Affiliations (male-centric for example)

Color
Disabilities (of any form)
Female Centric threads (non male, father, boy, husband specific)

Geographical local
Military and/or Veteran Status (statements like baby killers, murderers etal)Sexual Preference

Misandrous global/generalizations (Obviously – See the name of the site!)

Personal attributes (Cut/Uncut etal)
Race
Religious Beliefs

_______________________________________

Revision - Jan 27, 2009
Added The Following:

Universally acknowledged derogatory labels used when referring to people will not tolerated. These (sexist or racist terms for example) include but are not limited to are:

Cock
Cunt
Nigger
Kike
Spic
Beaner
Cock(sucker)
Wetback
Krout

Please note that if the label is indeed used, CONTEXT will of course be taken into consideration.

Although conspiracy theories and similar beliefs are allowed and respected for debate, revisionism, blatant denial and/or apologist beliefs of historical facts are not. For example, the belief that slavery or the holocaust did not happen will not be tolerated due to the significantly volatile nature of the topics. Additionally, the aforementioned examples are not deemed beneficial to the intended purpose of this site.

Reason for addition(s): Made previous version of AM Rules more clear.

No one needs to feel that they are not welcomed here. Personal attacks and trolling for an argument typically will do that to a person. On or off line slanderous contact brought to the boards just to cause trouble or following that person from post to post are typically considered trolling as well.

Just remember, YOU and only YOU are responsible for your actions and posts. The Owner of this site, Administrators, and Moderators, are not and will not be held responsible for ANYTHING written on these boards.... Use common sense folks. You light a fire, you better be able to handle it or at least put it out.

If you have questions, comments, or a problem, please contact one of the Moderators, Standard Administrators, or if necessary, 1st tier Administrators.

As a last resort, use http://antimisandry.com/sendmessage.php to contact the Site Owner directly.

The site owner and the 1st tier Administrator reserve the right to modify these rules at any time.  It is your responsibility to be current of the rules of this site by reading site-wide posts placed by the Administrators.

Once a decision by a Moderator or Administrator has been made, It is done – for the most part.

If a poster feels that they have been slighted or targeted by the Mod/Admin, they do have to option to go above them for resolution.  Remember, the poster MUST have exhausted the proper channel (with supporting proof) prior to going above the Mod/Admin in question.  That is to say, they have attempted to discuss it with the Mod/Admin in question and are not satisfied or still feel that the issue is not resolved.  Then, AND ONLY THEN will the next level Administrator or Site Owner himself get involved.  Failure to follow this process will inevitably force the issue back to the Mod/Admin in question.

Some examples of an administrative action are; Bad Rep points, thread/post deletion, or temporary /permanent ban.

These rules are applied as of this day forward – December 10th, 2007.  Any issues and/or concerns prior to this date are considered closed and should not be brought up as a current issue.
