AN “EXCEPTIONALLY drunk” Birkenhead woman sparked a major police investigation after falsely claiming she had been raped.

Mother-of-three, Tracey Taylor of Elmswood Road, had drunk a bottle of vodka before having consensual sex with a man at a party on April 2 last year.

At 8am the next morning, the 41-year-old made a “hysterical” phone call to police, in which she began to hyperventilate, saying she had been dragged into an entry near Grove Road in Wallasey and attacked.

She was examined at Arrowe Park Hospital and the alley was cordoned off while police photographers attended the scene.

After the Serious Crime Analysis Section was informed, a forensic science unit arrived, and the police press office issued an alert to women in the area.

Eight officers then carried out house-to-house enquiries in an operation which police say cost them £7,752.

By the time she attended Merseyside Police’s Forensic Imaging Department on April 12, her originally sketchy description of the stranger who attacked her had become a 14-page statement and a detailed efit matching the man she had intercourse with.

After DNA tests confirmed they had had sex police confronted Miss Taylor with her description’s likeness to the man at the party, whereupon she broke down saying she had no idea why she had made up the story.

Janine Doolan for the defence said: “When the police traced the man he gave his version of events and they then went back to Tracey.

“At that stage she put her hands up and said I made this up, this has snowballed and gone too far.

“It was a wrong, some might say a wicked thing to do.

“She has a supportive and loving partner and a great job working with people with learning difficulties.

“As to why she did this she was not able to offer a satisfactory explanation.”

Psychiatric reports revealed between the ages of 10 and 20 she had been sexually abused, and had suffered domestic abuse at the hands of a previous partner.

She had a history of depression and self-harm.

Janine Doolan added: “It’s a serious offence by a woman of good character who has a good job, a family and everything to lose.”

Magistrate Paul Radcliffe sentenced her to a six-month suspended for two years with 300 hours of unpaid work, she must pay Merseyside Police £1,000 in compensation and £80 prosecution costs.

He concluded: “For reasons which are still unclear you have deliberately constructed a detailed 14-page false report to police resulting in a waste of police resources.

“You caused other women in the local area to fear for their safety and real concern to women who are reluctant to come forward for fear that they may not be believed.”

That particular statement keeps surfacing word for word so I am wondering who it might be promoting this specific comment ?

Feminists come to mind.

I did find out that feminists were rewarding judges that were female friendly in their judgments and were awarded for their efforts..

It smacks of collusion and bribery to me..

The bolded part in the first sentence might explain as to why she did it. Contriteness born of a vested interest. Rather than admitting to extracurricular fornication, she "cowardly" sought to lay the blame at the feet of an innocent man instead.

Here's a familiar pattern, even when a woman commits a crime, somewhere, somehow, a man is to blame. Have these allegations of abuse been substantiated? Even if proven to be so, it shouldn't detract from or excuse her contemptuous actions! We can't all spend a lifetime excusing our transgressions on those of others.

Argh....Females are clearly the better criminals I mean humans. What a bs. Does someone care about the character, job, family of a man who got falsely accused?

Yes, I can remember a few years ago and I think it may have been in Australia where feminists invited the judiciary to functions where they awarded them with bonuses and awards for jailing men and letting off the privileged princesses scotch free..
