WOMAN STABBED HERSELF

VÄSTERÅS. The 41 year old woman arrived at the hospital after having been stabbed and cut in her thigh, arm, and neck. According to the woman her husband had threatened to kill her. But it was the woman herself who had inflicted the wounds. Now she's being charged with false accusations.

The woman had two stab wounds in her thigh, one in her arm, and a long cut on her neck. She claimed that it was her husband who had caused the injuries, and that he'd threatened to kill her while cutting her. According to the woman this wasn't the first time the man had molested her, but that it was just the latest of many years' worth of harassment.

SHUT HERSELF IN
When police arrived at the couple's house to bring the woman in for a medical examination she locked herself in her bedroom and barricaded the door, screaming that she refused to take part in the investigation. In the police's interview with the husband they learned that it was the woman herself who had caused the injuries in order to frame him. The 41 year old woman had taken a kitchen knife and stabbed herself in the thigh while saying "ow, this hurts. You shouldn't do this." The husband's version was later corroborated by a friend of the woman's who came to visit during the time it happened.

CUT HER OWN THIGH
The friend said that the woman was cutting her own thigh when she entered the kitchen, and when asked why she was doing it the woman had replied "because I want a wound".

The woman has confessed to injuring herself, but she won't say why she did it. She had been partying for close to 24 hours when she suddenly started to feel hateful to everything and everyone, and felt that she wanted to frame her husband.

WANTED TO FRAME HER HUSBAND
The husband says that right before she cut herself she said that "she'd make sure that he wound up in jail or in prison". When asked why, he didn't get any answers.

Now the woman is being charged with false accusations, a crime the woman now has confessed to.
