RADAR ALERT: Beyond Duke: About Half Of All Rape Allegations Are False

While researchers and prosecutors do not agree on the percentage of false allegations, the consensus is that approximately 40% to 50% of charges are clearly false. This number does not include unresolved allegations held “in limbo” where evidence is too weak to try the case even under shield laws, relaxed rules, and comparatively weak evidentiary standards applied to rape cases:

A survey of all the forcible rape complaints during a three-year period at two large Midwestern state universities found that 50 percent of the accusations were false.4
In a nine-year study of all resolved rape cases in a Midwestern U.S. city of 70,000, the accusers recanted their charges 41 percent of the time. The 41 percent figure does not include the other accusations that the police department recorded as unfounded, for which there was insufficient evidence to establish the assault.5
According to a report of the Defense Department Inspector General released in 2005, approximately 73% of women and 72% of men at the military service academies believe that false accusations of sexual assault are a problem.6

The culture of false allegations of violence bears unacceptably high costs. Families and innocent lives are destroyed by our wasted tax dollars, while real cases go ignored or unprosecuted. Judges and juries are fooled and make bad decisions.

I done a bit of math;
Population of Manhattan: 1,611,581
Of that number, 4000 rapes were reported, so that's exactly 0.24820347224247497%
But half of them were false, so that now makes it exactly 0.124101%
Now call me uneducated if you will, but 0.124101% does not look like 25% to me, in fact, it's nowhere bloody near it, so I assume that's why the feminists love to say 85% of rapes go unreported, because the real number CLEARLY doesn't match their 1 in 4 statistic. They should be punished for spreading such lies.

If 0.124101% is 15%, with 85% going unreported, then 100% is 0.82734%.

Actually, 6ame, you should be using the Female pop of Manhatten, say over 14. Let's say that is about 40% of the whole pop. So it should be 4000 out of 644324 or 0.006208 or 0.6208%. Apply your half for false reports, makes 0.3104% ; do the .15/.85 adjustment and we get an overall 2.07%.

That's a per annum. Over a period of a life from 14 to 84, some 70 years, every woman there would be raped 1.449 times.

See, it's not 25% at all. It's 150%

(Of course, if you were originally using the female pop, it being the 1.6mil figure) then we rapists are going to have to work hard to get the 150%).

On the other hand, my maths might be crap.

For all those of you chaps who are quite unpracticed at rape - neophytes - I suggest you start easy with the very old ladies. You might just bring them up to their allocation with a fumble.

Using common sense. Ask arround open your eyes. Look at females arround you. Has every 4th of them been raped? I doubt it. This reminds me of a feminist I spoke with. She had her views of how bad women have it from feministing.org
