Narberth Town Moor rape allegation was false

A teenage girl's false allegation of rape sparked off a 24-hour police investigation in Pembrokeshire at the weekend.

The girl reported to police on Saturday night that she had been the victim of the serious sexual assault in Narberth the previous week.

But following an extensive police enquiry, it was found that her claim was not true.

It is understood that she may now face a prosecution for wasting police time.

Police issued an urgent appeal yesterday (Sunday) for witnesses and information relating to the alleged incident, which the girl had told them took place on Narberth's Town Moor, near the old primary school, on the evening of Saturday January 23rd. But within hours, her claims were established to be false.

A police spokesman confirmed today (Monday): "The female has withdawn her allegation. This followed a comprehensive investigation by local police CID, under the direction of a senior investigating officer.

"This allegation was subsequently found to be untrue."

The spokesman added: "Dyfed-Powys police, in line with national requirements, treats all allegations of sexual assaults seriously; this involves the use of specially-trained officers to support victims during what is a traumatic experience.

"Victims of sexual assaults should not suffer in silence, and we encourage them to contact us.

"Sexual Attack Referral Centres (Sarc) and other agencies provide independent support if the victim feels unable to speak to the police."

And what of victims of false allegations by vicious little liars? How seriously are they treated? Are there specially trained officers avaialble to support them during what is a traumatic experience? Or are they left to suffer in silence? Are they encouraged to contact the police? Presumably not, because the police will have contacted them first...but certainly not with offers of support...and there are certainly no Farcs (False Accusation Referral Centres), are there?

Luckily there doesn't appear to have been a victim in this case, i.e an innocent man banged up in jail, his name and picture splashed across the local press under the banner of "rapist" and the local community turning on him and his family like a pack of dogs.

there it is folk ! real support for empty allegations and virtual victims and virtual trauma as a "national requirement"

begs the question how does Sarc establish there is a victim if she is unable to speak to them ahahhahhah

maybe a sort of a witch hunt beat to flush out virtual rapists for thorough investigation and possible trumped up prosecutions

men ae doing time now that emphasis is on the allegation not whether a crime has actually been committed - look at the alacrity with which the Duke Lacrosse and Hofstra allegations were receved by the LEOS; only the money of the parents of the Duke victims saved them from the feminit juggernaut

they would rather investigate any trumped up malicious allegation agin some innocent patsy ( with specially trained officers) rather than risk one bona fide allegation uninvestigated ! now that is dedication to the feminit dogma and assumption that all men are potential rapists
