His marriage is now under threat......"Her three children were taken away from her in November of last year. She gave birth in November to her fourth child. Have you read the comments? There are a surprising amount of people saying that false-accusers should get the same sentence that the falsely accused would have got if convicted of the crime: Quote:
These comments hit the nail on the head: Quote:
Many of the comments by women were saying that her real victims were other women who are genuine rape victims....

I really must be fair here! My apologies to Bella, from Oxfotd, who also said that this women should have received the same treatment as an actual male rapist: She should get a sentence equivalent to that which would have been granted to John Mullholland, which I don't believe would have been a mere four months. In my opinion she should be made to suffer the consequences she was prepared to inflict on an utterly innocent man. - Bella Cavendish, Oxford, England I'm sorry, Bella.

It would be surprising if even 8% of "rape" claims had any factual basis at all.

Of course, this false rape claim against a man is being blamed on another man. This is one of the saddest stories I have ever heard. I don't know who is worse, the false accuser or the people who abused the victim and his family. Prison for false rape claim woman Tameside Advertiser - UK Stacey Challoner, 20, told police John Mullholland had taken her to a wood and raped her against a tree in April last year. In fact the pair had a fling... ...She then admitted her claims were false but said she had made them up because she lived in fear of her "bullying" partner, and admitted having consensual sex with Mr Mullholland once at her home. In mitigation, Carolyn Smith said Challenor had no previous convictions and had made the allegations out of fear. She said the whole relationship with her partner had been "peppered with manipulation and violence." She added that Challoner was "genuinely sorry" for making the allegation and asked for any custodial sentence to be suspended. But Judge Iain Hamilton told Challoner: "I have no sense that you understand the gravity of what you have done — there is no real sense of remorse, although I accept that you pose a low risk of committing a further offence. "The allegation that you made is of such a serious nature that any person — both women and men — must be deterred from making such an allegation. I have thought long and hard about giving you a suspended prison sentence but I can't do so and be consistent with my public duty." Challenor was given a four-month sentence at Manchester Crown Court. Outside court Mr Mulholland, of Wythenshawe, told how he tried twice to commit suicide after he and his family were subjected to abuse after the allegations came to light. "My kids are aged three and six and they have been spat at. I have been called a rapist in the street. My wife has stood by me and we are planning to move to Ireland." this is terrible. and that people automatically assumed he was a predator.... good god, what is this world coming to? *of course* this guy is real the victim here, much more directly than true rape victims in other cases. you can certainly say that it has a negative impact on real rape victims (and you could go further to say that it negatively affects all the other victims of crime that had less time/money put into them because of this).... but, to just ignore all what this poor guy has gone through is ridiculous. i think, though, that, because of how our societies generally view heterosexual women (as automatically victims, for one [and really... feminists should be protesting that, because it completely undermines that idea that women *are* strong and capable]), many of them don't have any idea of how awful it is to be thought of as sexually predatorial (not sure if that's a word - my browser doesn't seem to think so, hehe) in any way, or to just live with the possibility that, at any moment, everything could shift and you could be labeled a sexual predator. do they think that calling someone a rapist doesn't hurt them? seriously.... just wondering, for those of you who think her sentence should have been the same as what his would have been had he been convicted: do you also believe a murderer should be killed? should real rapists be raped? eye for an eye? personally, i don't. i can't really give a particularly good argument for it, though. sorry. maybe tomorrow =P uh, thoughts? (and i'm sorry if this is rather inarticulate... i haven't been sleeping well, and my brain's pretty much shot.)

Gordon Bennett. This is a mish-mash of a thought. A Murderer has murdered. A rapist has raped. A falsely accused man hasn't friggin' done anything. The False Accuser has. How can this be seen as 'an eye for an eye'?
I have tried all my life to leave the place better than I found it. But there are 6 billion other buggers out there messing it up. I am outnumbered. But... YOU don't just make a difference, you make THE difference. ![]()

Recently police in some countries are starting to charge such women demanding financial compensation for wasted investigation hours. Sometimes the victim is sent to some weeks community service or to spend some weeks in jail. I think, this is not enough. Laws have to be changed. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/pages/liv...=1&expand=true Please study this case, link above. The Muslim immigrant was not the rapist....for that SHE got 4 (four!) months (MONTHS!) Yes, 4 months, and she should get at least 4 years by my opinion and a huge bill for compensation for all this mess... http://www.pantagraph.com/articles/2...ews/108375.txt Or this one, girls are starting already very young with false rape allegations, the boy (13) spent months in a juvenile detention center, the girl (14) not even one day.... THIS GIRL SHOULD SPEND EXACTLY THE SAME TIME BEHIND BARS AS THE BOY. Do you not think so? Please let us know your opinion...I wonder if you agree, that we need laws which makes it possible for judges to sentence malicious women to a considerable long time behind bars...
