I am planning to name my wife on my blog as a rape crier. Question would that be harassment. I believe not because the court records that name her are available from the courts to anyone that wants that, I see the only problem would be if I call her a rape crier, If I say she had me charged with rape and then refused to testify it still gets te same message out. Let me know your views.    | |||

Awkward... I don't know the rules/law for your area, but I'd pretty sure she could screw you up for it. If you do it, you really should go to a foreign blog site & do it there under a pseudo name.

I don't know exactly how it works but from experiencing others doing it the site can be closed down and you can the owner be charged. If it is in a FC case you also can get into trouble for taking information out of the court. I have seen one man stick to his guns and make a site of his own but then he was harassed by police and it did become political. Still I have seen someone do what Marx is suggesting and that seems to work.

Unless she actually is named as a false accuser and was CONVICTED of it, do not do it. Are there actual charges levied against her as such? Now THAT you can publish. Just be sure to use accused and alleged when stating the case. Defamation laws are squirly in the US so one must be careful to state only the facts... unless you are the MRM that is... Oh, and not a white male. It was wrong for the Duke case, and it would be wrong in this as well. TMOTS
