This accusation sounds rather specious.

Dodds appeared at Portsmouth District Court on Monday morning via video where he answered to charged of simple assault, false imprisonment and default .

It sounds legitimate to me.

What I don't understand is why he wasn't charged with violating the restraining order.

As per the charges listed, the chances of a conviction on anything but the breaching of the terms of his bail, are slim to none, even if he did truly commit the crimes he is charged with.

They should have at least charged him with the violation of the restraining order. That's a charge that prosecutors might actually have a chance to successfully prove.

Restraining orders are bogus, in fact completely unconstitutional and even criminal on the part of the government. Restraining orders work like this: Woman afraid, woman cry to police and judge, man convicted and sentenced with no trial, i.e. NO DUE PROCESS. A RESTRAINING ORDER IS A CRIME!!!!

Uhm... and just how do they KNOW this? Were they there? If this is NOT alleged, then where is the proof that it actually happened?

Bullshit. I think that she claimed it, and they are running with it. Plain and simple.

I must admit, the first story did make him sound very guilty - especially with the info about previous problems, but sans details.

The second story sounds like she is bi-polar or something. At the very least moody and irrational. If she was afraid of him, why did she drive with him all over hell and back?

So he's in jail, he pays the fines, he has to get evaluated. Did she ever have her mental health evaluated?
