Dalby, 35, of St Michael's Road, Grimsby, has been given a 10-month suspended prison sentence – with a single condition that she lives for six months in her own home – for admitting perverting the course of justice between August 14 and 22 by making a false rape claim.

The prosecution pointed out that in other, similar cases, prison sentences of two years or 18 months had been imposed.

But Judge Tremberg claimed this case was "exceptional" because, unlike the cases of other women who had been jailed, Dalby did not act out of "spite or malice".

This is something that I just don't understand. If you murdered someone because they were taking too much time at the checkout counter and for no other reason then you get a suspended sentence just because it wasn't out of "malice?"

Is this not as bad as Malace or Spite?

From US Legal Definitions:

To constitute depraved indifference, the defendant's conduct must be 'so wanton, so deficient in a moral sense of concern, so lacking in regard for the life or lives of others, and so blameworthy as to warrant the same criminal liability as that which the law imposes upon a person who intentionally causes a crime. Depraved indifference focuses on the risk created by the defendant’s conduct, not the injuries actually resulting.

Apparently not. You see, we have a hard time believing that women can act out of Spite, Mallace or Depraved Indiference so that means never having to say you are sorry if you are a woman.

You'd be tempted to believe she only got a wristslap for admitting perverting the course of justice instead of the actual act of perverting the course of justice itself huh?

It seems (I should yell around 'it is proven'...) that in order to commit an act of spite or malice, one must own a penis, an attached one that is.
Rape accusations, as we know, are one of the most serious ones that can be made... If someone is willing to send innocent people into jail for something as rape, then one does not merely act of greed, it is one of the greatest forms of spite and malice I can imagine. She clearly didn't see any problems in sending two men to jail to preservate her 'innocence' towards her husband and the rest of the community. In the end however, she got a wristslap for admitting she perverted the course of justice and she is likely to be stuck with a relationship that is even more broken than it would be if she took responsibility for her actions. Now she didn't only cheat on her husband, but she also took him for an idiot with her false rape claim. If someone cheated on me, I would have more respect than if someone tried to cover it up, especially with that little regard to the consequences of false rape accusations. Ohh well... anything for the sake of avoiding responsibility I geuss?

That is ridiculous, she obviously did it because she thought she'd be caught. Why on earth would she accuse the man of rape because she felt guilty? In what way does that assuage her guilt?

It doesnt undo what she has done, it is just piling more crimes on top of the old ones.

She clearly was willing to sacrifice two men in order to protect herself, I hope her husband kills her.

I always tell a woman who whines about equality against me that if she desires to be treated as equal, then she must start behaving as an equal and not as an entitlement princess, untill that moment I will treat her as an inferior (disclaimer: this counts for both gender... it is simply no more than treating an person who is not worthy of respect without the same respect as someone that is worthy of respect).

That ussualy shuts a woman (or mangina) up if she complains about equality.
