Almost everyone has a dark place inside - the 'shadow' - into which we imprison our wild desires, the ones that if let loose cause damage around us and to ourselves.

It is a constant fight for some of us to ensure that the 'moral' man - or women - prevails if just for a peaceable existence.

She gave in to temptation and suffered 'shame' which feminism tells all women is not a feeling that they 'deserve' but is thrust upon them by the Patriarchy. So she off-loaded it onto two men.

Typical of far too many women these days, agitpropped to the eyeballs as they are.

Conservatives are neither here nor there either. What they - or indeed, I - say, won't 'make' her feel guilty. She does that all by herself.

It is a natural consequence of the attitude that you and the other 9998 have.

Having as 'much sex as you want, with whomever you want' is like saying you can have as much ice-cream and chocolate and candy floss as you want. Too much makes you sick.

I disagree. Guilt isn't biological for most things, its learned. We feel guilty for doing things that are frowned up from society at large.

come over here to West Sydney where I live they are selling their shackles to the Family Court which adapts them to fit the ankles of their ex husbands as they exit the star chamber

Guilt IS biological. It is an emotion.

It is not learned. It is an emotion and emotions are inherent.

Other people's attitudes, real or imagined, cause us to feel shame, another quite distinct emotion. They consider it wrong, so we feel ashamed.

False rape claim leads to jail sentence

A WOMAN who falsely cried rape, prompting an £86,500 police investigation in North Devon, has been jailed for two years.

Chloe Dolton, 22, wept as a jury unanimously found her guilty of attempting to pervert the course of justice, at Exeter Crown Court.

Dolton, who now lives in Braunton, met two Polish men after leaving a party in Ilfracombe in July 2007. She claimed they grabbed her as she walked past an isolated shelter near Capstone Point.

But the men maintained that they had consensual sex with the woman and CCTV footage backed up their statements.

Two years is pathetic.

She should do the time that the two innocent men would have served had they been found guilty.
She should compensate them for their legal costs, loss of earnings, damage to reputation etc., and should pay the taxpayer back the £86,500 spent investigating her lies.
She should also have to sign a register of False Rape Accusers.

By assuming a woman in this situation is motivated by guilt, we give them emotional privilege as we have always done, and nobalise this womans motive.

Women do these breathtakingly contemptible acts because they feel guilty?

I bet the reality of human nature, well feminist nature really, is she more likely did it to dispense with an awkward situation. She did it out of convenience – not guilt, I reckon.

Most of these false accusations are done out of a convenience to avoid awkward situations; or embarisment to her sense of pride and ego, but not guilt.

The ability to feel guilt is too noble an emotion for such evil people in this situation, your soft on them Percy. If she was capable of that level of guilt, then why did se cry when given such a light sentence? Was it remorse for her victims, or was it more like despair for her own miserly incarceration; a fraction of what she would have got her innocent victims?

I think you project emotional privilege to her, instinctively, and morel-up this narcissist’s motive.

Again, there is no biological "guilt for having sex with multiple men" instinct.

Do you get the distinction? It is learned. The social and biological are interspered in that we have biological instincts that rely on socialization.

We biologically have a sense of guilt for doing "inappropriate things", but we learn what is inappropriate from our culture.

If born in a polygamous culture, you will never have any guilt for "f*cking multiple people". If born in a monogamous culture, you will. Its not the biology that changed, the culture did.
