Another Man Falsely Accused of Rape - But By A Boy | |
This case and was treated the same as any case of a teen accusing an adult man. He was arrested immediately, and his name was in the paper. The accuser's name has been suppressed. The police are still charging him with being drunk in public (?) Does anyone else think this sounds like they were trying to come with anything at all to charge him with? This is the first time I've seen a boy making a false accusation of this nature. I'm thinking it indicates the extreme concentrated efforts being made to demonize men.

EL CAJON, Calif. -- A 15-year-old boy who accused a 39-year-old friend of attempted rape changed his story Sunday, police said.The boy had told police that the man drove him to Grossmont College at about 7:30 p.m. Saturday and then proceeded to try and rape the boy in the car, said El Cajon police Lt. Jim Redman. Police arrested 39-year-old Luis Ruben Rojo quickly after the boy notified campus police of the alleged attack.
"Basically, we found after some more investigation that the boy had fabricated the story," Redman said. All sex charges have been dropped against Rojo, who ran and hid before being found by a police helicopter in a canyon. Police then employed the use of a Taser gun on him. The man still faces charges of being drunk in public, Redman said.
