Genital Trauma Can Be Lethal

According to a text called "Anomalies and Curiosities of Medicine -- Chapter XIII", trauma to the testes and vulva can lead to death.

Squeezing of the testes has resulted in the death of men.

"Rupture of the spermatic arteries and veins has caused sudden death. Schleiser is accredited with describing an instance in which a healthy man was engaged in a fray in the dark, and, suddenly crying out, fell into convulsions and died in five minutes. On examination the only injury found was the rupture of both spermatic arteries at the internal ring, produced by a violent pull on the scrotum and testicles by one of his antagonists. Shock was evidently a strong factor in this case."

The Cossiah women from India are not only aware of the the fatal consequences associated with testicular squeezing, they have used it to kill their husbands.

"In fact, Chevers states that the sensitiveness of the testicles is so well known in India, that there are cases on record in which premeditated murder has been effected by Cossiah women, by violently squeezing the testicles of their husbands."

Women are susceptible, too. A woman died as a result of vulval trauma.

"There is a case of death from a ruptured clitoris reported by Gutteridge. The woman was kicked while in a stooping position and succumbed to a profuse hemorrhage, estimated to be between three and four pounds, and proceeding from a rupture of the clitoris."

I am a male, and while I get the point of the argument, I think that the comparison to rape here is not only wrong, but downright offensive. While I do admit, I never want to experience the pain of someone making forceful contact with my genitals (as in pulling the testes in your argument), I feel that rape is much worse because the impacts are just as long lasting, if not longer. And calling women "female chauvanist/faminazi" is flat out sexist.

Though I just realised now that this page is dedicated to being sexist (I arrived at this page through stumbleupon). It's people like you, and statements like the above quote, that are really not helping anyones case.

That said, I did appreciate the post until that sentence. You probs could have finished it better than a comparison to rape.

We have to determine what 'type' of rape is under scrutiny. For decades, feminists have been trying to enforce a diluted definition of 'rape' so if a man and woman both have several drinks and then have consensual sex with one-another, he and he alone can be charged with 'rape', despite the facts.

However, if we're talking a traditional sense of rape, whereby a woman (or man) is beaten senseless and forced - entirely against their will - to engage sexually, sure - that's bad... and so is losing a testicle or dying from it. Or is it acceptable in your mind for feminists to spread hateful comments about men but not acceptable for men to defend themselves or retaliate? Again, we need to find precisely what definition of 'rape' is being used... i.e. the context.

I thought "everyone knew" it could be fatal. Even a cricket ball hitting them can be very dangerous - not merely painful. I understand the likelihood of fatality is low but always there.
