You know, I have younger siblings in the public scholl system, and I was in it less than 2 years ago; and guess what, I don't remember being fed any "gay agenda". The only thing we were taught is that it is wrong to hate.

People love to get so high and might talking like they know what is right and "natural". Listen, Homosexuality Isn't New. It's been around since as long as men's memory reaches. So who's to say that homosexuality isn't a naturally occuring pheneomenon in nature? Do we not see homo activity between animals?

And if people draw the conclusion that children don't need fathers from seeing lesbians with kids... that is there fault for being dumb. I think homosexuality occurs so that unwanted children have a chance at parents, but artificial insemination interfers with that process. Gay people should adopt.

I don't think two dads or two moms is as good as one of each, but it IS better than just one or no parents.

Female sperm and gay guinea pigs

While gay families and their supporters await the California Supreme Court's ruling on the constitutionality of a voter-approved law banning same-sex marriage, a few researchers and pundits are proposing that same-sex procreation with bio-engineered gametes will undermine one of the key arguments of same-sex marriage opponents.

These technological enthusiasts are portraying a recent biological experiment with artificial gametes as a breakthrough that will one day enable gay and lesbian couples to have children who are genetically related to both of them. Some media reports have described the step toward "female sperm" as a portent of gay freedom. "Good news for lesbians," the lead of one story gushed.

Well, maybe not. The news accounts and enthusiasts haven't raised the question of whether equality can be engineered in a test tube or discrimination solved with a technical fix. Nor have they pointed out that procreation with artificial gametes would be a biologically extreme measure that would pose enormous risks to any resulting children. While speculation about using such constructs in humans typically includes the standard disclaimer - "assuming this is shown to be safe" - the far more likely "not safe" option has remained unexamined...

In a previous study published in 2006, the Newcastle team worked with mice, and was able to produce offspring using female mouse sperm. But the results of that experiment are hardly comforting: The researchers got seven live births from 210 attempts. Though mice usually live for years, one of those seven mouse pups died soon after birth, and the other six exhibited "abnormal growth rates" and died within five months.

Female sperm and male eggs would not be just another form of in vitro fertilization. IVF uses evolved biological mechanisms to initiate reproduction in a different physical location: a Petri dish instead of a womb.

Using artificial gametes for reproduction would be more like using cloning for reproduction, which routinely produces disastrous outcomes similar to the Newcastle scientists' mice. That's why there is now a wide consensus among nearly every knowledgeable researcher that trying to create human clones would be dangerous and highly unethical.

Like reproductive cloning, efforts to use female sperm or other artificial gametes would mean starting with biological materials that have not been produced by evolutionary dynamics to participate in reproduction. In human beings, this would be an extraordinarily high-risk gamble. As researchers and others have concluded in speculation about human reproductive cloning, the very investigations that would be required to try to improve the safety of female-sperm reproduction in human beings would amount to unethical human experimentation.

But some promoters of the female-sperm scenario aren't waiting even for lab results. A Bay Area patent analyst, Gregory Aharonian, is uninvolved with any scientific work, yet has filed a patent application on a variety of techniques to create artificial gametes.

Acknowledging that this is, in part, a publicity move, Aharonian argues that mobilizing support for same-sex procreation using female sperm and male eggs would undermine the keystone argument against same-sex marriage...

A bill it passed yesterday would reverse the two-decade-old ban on foreigners infected with the HIV/AIDS from entering the U.S.

Since the primary mode of transmission of HIV/AIDS in the U.S. is male-to-male sex (according to the CDC, 71% of AIDS is self-inflicted, by men who have sex with men), this is a craven capitulation to the homosexual lobby.

Given the elevated rate of promiscuity and the frequency of anonymous sexual encounters in the homosexual community, should this bill go into law, there is no question that Americans will be infected with this sexually transmitted disease by foreigners from whom they have - until now - been protected. Which story rather clearly outlines the impetus behind the censorship demands the East Bay News Group gave in to, as huffed by no less a Coprophile mau mau artiste than the reigning queen of Sodom by the Sea - 'Tommy Turdpacker' Ammmiano - the heir apparent to the seat of Leno - who will take over for (if never truly replace) ole $5 Smidgen in the Senate.

Perhaps this is the group of influential Power Brokers referred to in the MediaNews article so euphemistically as "Communities"... Ahem.

Staph infection mandate criticized - State to require reporting only of cases acquired in community, though most cases are contracted in hospitals By Sandy Kleffman STAFF WRITER 2/15/08

California will require reporting of severe cases of staph infections, including an antibiotic resistant "superbug" known as MRSA, health officials announced Thursday. The goal is to better understand how to prevent the public health threat.

The state is focusing only on community-acquired infections because less is known about how to protect the public in such cases, said Dr. Gilberto Chavez, a state epidemiologist... In the 1990s, a slightly different strain began to spread into the community, appearing first in jails and among athletic teams, where people are in close contact. Hospitals now must report serious staph cases to officials Sabin Russell, Chronicle Medical Writer 2/15/08

The new reporting requirement, however, is limited to cases that start outside hospitals or nursing homes in otherwise healthy people - leaving out about 85 percent of life-threatening encounters with the most feared bug, methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus, or MRSA...

San Francisco Supervisor Tom Ammiano (*aka "Tommy Turdpacker" - notorious 'bendover' comic from the club circuit) said that sort of reporting is potentially troubling. "I think we should be very, very cautious about this. There are privacy concerns," he said. "We need to know what the goals are, and what the benefits would be."

Last month, San Francisco General Hospital physicians reported in the journal Annals of Internal Medicine that a variant of USA 300, resistant to six antibiotics, was "especially common among men who have sex with men."

That report, and the subsequent media coverage of it around the world, deeply angered some members of the city's gay community.

Ammiano denounced a report in The Chronicle about it as "irresponsible" and "homophobic,"

AFA asked McDonald’s to remain neutral in the culture war. The company refused, stating they will continue to support the gay agenda including same-sex marriage. AFA has called for a boycott of McDonald’s restaurants.

McDonald’s spokesman Bill Whitman told the Washington Post that those (even Christians) who oppose homosexual marriage are motivated by hate, saying that "... hatred has no place in our culture."

This boycott is not about hiring homosexuals or how homosexual employees are treated. It is about McDonald’s choosing to put the full resources of their corporation behind promoting the homosexual agenda.

To help promote the gay agenda, McDonald’s paid $20,000 to become an official "organizational ally and corporate partner" of the National Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce and secure a seat on the group’s board of directors. The NGLCC lobbies against laws protecting marriage as between a man and a woman.

Peter Tatchell, a British-based homosexual activist, says there is no such thing as a gay gene, and says that homosexual desire is not genetically determined.

While there perhaps may be a biological influence on one's sexuality, he says, "influence is not the same as a cause ... Predisposition and determination are two different things." Genetic determination theory, he points out, cannot explain bisexuality or those in mid-life who switch sexual orientations.

He concludes by saying, "The homophobes are thus, paradoxically, closer to the truth than many gay activists." Gay activist Dennis Altman says, "Being gay is ... socially determined and involves personal choice." Said another homosexual activist, "I think the idea that sexuality is genetic is cr***. There is absolutely no evidence for it at the moment."

He then adds helpfully, that, because people are not in fact born that way, "we should be recruiting (them) to homosexuality." There is even an entire website which bills itself as "a radical gathering place for people who have chosen to be queer."
