Whatever, the demos etc that can be publicised should be put up on this forum. Also, after the event, we should get a report of it published..

I use the links provided to get publicity elsewhere, I regularly check this forum and the rf4j one for news which I link through to other places to increase the awareness..

For example, by linking the up-coming court case in newcastle to the antimisandry forum, I have managed to get international attention and letters written to the media concerned to ask them cover this event appropriately..

As far as joe public is concerned, f4j is matts old site and is still actively taking donations and working for fathers!

This is a major misapprehension and since there is no link from there, to here, or any "facebook" whatever as the central active uk f4j-style group it adds to confusion and leads to ineffectiveness..

Discipline, my good fellows, is needed!

By having a central "list" of opportunities, hopefully duplicated through all the groups, we have more hope of unified action when needed and bodies where it matters!

Common sense really!

So basically Pater all you do is sit behind you're computer, copy some links, piss and moan about everyone else's efforts, and ???

Take it you're not volounteering for anything??

I think I remember an old saying that was something like..

"If you don't have anything positive to say, don't bother saying anything at all.."

There are lots of blokes on here that do lots of bits and pieces in thier own way..

Theres lots of people on here genuinley looking for support and advice..

Knocking the efforts of those you do try and help and generally being negative is not really much help to anyone is it??

Matt is quite open that he has closed the old F4J. Its only the forum that is still running..
NF4J is slowly getting more and more publicity online, and from here we can slowly get more and more people involved, if you don't scare them all off..

Matts site is still taking donations for a supposedly shut down organisation?

If you dont require good advice on how you can get more bodies by publicising more effectively then I will cease giving it..

I have been putting my arse around in this cause and turning up for actions for the last 5-6 years, which is longer than the vast majority of activists.

I dont know why I have bothered for so long.

The damned ingratitude stinks..

How many millions of fathers out there do nothing, yet within these groups there is a prefference for kicking the folk who do make an effort..?

The whole point of my post was to assist you and yet I get told I do nothing!

I have been to several events, jollies jail demo (which was an organisational **** up) driving many hundreds of miles and other stuff, but the point is, how can we attend demos we dont know about or that have inoperative links?

Its no wonder practically every ****er has gone off the scene!

Fairly typical, unfortunately. I thought your post was very good....a great rallying effort.

Basically, I was just asking them to be a bit more pro-active in putting up opportunities for actions/demos etc..

So they can get more support..

Of course, I must have done something dreadfully wrong in suggesting that!

They have fucked me, and others who are willing to do stuff about enough times and my patience is wearing thin with the remains of f4j..

The fact that the interested public cant see the news of actions without joining the forum (if they are even publicised there!) is another reason to wonder..

I think its hard on the guys who do the risky actions when there is such disorganisation.
