They were pretty horrible to Hillary. Sorry, but reality is NZ has been watching some of the things that were going on as has the world.

America isn't kind!
You are correct, Julie, they aren't kind, such is politics. Personally, I'd much prefer they'd leave out the personal attacks and stick with the things that really matter.

I'll find some links for you.
Her character? What's wrong with her character besides she's "too aggressive" for a woman to be and still be "liked"? What's wrong with her policies? They are just like Obama's. Their platforms are nearly identical. And America is supporting him. Why? Because he's a smooth talker. He can play the audience like Beethoven played a fiddle. Hillary didn't have that charisma. But she did have experience in the White House. Guess that counts for nothing, as personality is everything in this country.

I will provide you with information as promised, you'll have to wait for me to find it, though. You are, however, I believe missing the point of my post. It's not about the policies and character of Hillary Clinton, it's about misogyny. Just as you happen to think Hillary would have made a great president, I, along with many other Americans disagree. That's called an opinion, not misogyny.

I will assume you don't like McCain, TERA. Is that because you're a misandrist? I highly doubt it. I imagine your opinion of McCain, or any other male politician is based upon your beliefs concerning that person's character and policies.

Re: Misogyny

Martin Luther King looked to the day when people would be judged on the content of their character, rather than the colour of their skin or the shape of their genitals.

To 'look forward' to a Woman President or a Black one is as Racist and Sexist as only wanting a white man.

She has shown herself - and others have shown her - to be a liar, and embezzler; a corrupt law maker; a parvenue carpetbagger who, unelected, tried to take over the health Policy; incompetent; avaricious; having a filthy tongue, uncontrolled and lashing quiet innocent 'servants' who simply say 'Good Morning, Ma'am'; a domestic violence perpertrator; the list goes on.

She is reasonably slim and keeps her hair nice.

Obama is liked because he is getting a fantasic and biased adoration by the media, despite having no clear policy differential not having shown any character at all. He may have some. Who knows. No-one has looked closely at it. He attracts the balck vote because he is black and the white vote because he has stopped trying to leverage white guilt. He is making demands on black people which is gaining resonance. He has no track record.

America is favouring him because the last great Black man of promise, a man of great and proven Character, was denied a chance. General Powell was a man all could have voted for, uniting black and white. Both parties wanted him ! That has never happened before as far as I know. Not even for a white chap; except maybe Eisenhower.

Why did Powell not run?

It wasn't because he was conned into his UN speech, but because ....
his wife threatened to divorce him if he stood for the Presidency.

Re: Misogyny

Good on you Kim with the links.

Tera, I think that Kim was just telling everyone what NOW has on it's website.

It is really sad that feminism is only about women's rights.

It would be so nice to just care for both men and women together.

My son asked me: "Why don't they just have one amount for all cancer research?"

Pretty logical. But then the women did do a lot of good for women cancers. Women were just guinea pigs and suffering big time. Some of these same women are now lobbying for prostate cancer because of their husbands and fathers and sons.

Honesty requires that you be called out on that, Julie. It is emotive language. Victim language.

Just what do you mean by 'guinea pigs'?

Ahem, thanx for the opportunity Percy. I talk to one woman involved in Prostate Cancer and she has taught me too.

Damn, I did not bookmark it. I will find it a bit later.

Re: Misogyny

So Tera if some men dislike one woman it is misogyny?

I dispise Hilary Clinton am I now a person who hates all women?

Hilary Clinton is a disingenuous person the only reason she got as far as she did was because some ignorant liberal wackos want a woman in in office and any woman will do.

And since they want a woman in office regardless of how good a job she will do that makes them not only ignorant but misandrists. Did you ever think of that Tera?

Why is it so bad for people to distrust her? Oh that's right because any time any woman is exposed for what she really is then the exposers are automatically misogynists.

Putting a woman in office just because she is a woman is not only far more sexist than disliking one woman because of her own lack of integrity
but it is quite common for liberal retards who are more concerned with getting what they want than by doing what is right.
