TV show: Sell me the answer, sexism contestant.
Once again, I'm at work pottering around doing my chores through the night... I was doing a spot of ironing and had the TV on in the background (cos us men can't multitask by ironing & watching TV together, unlike our superiors).
This one guy came on and did his thing as a contestant.
ETA:
(The aim of the game is the audience can earn money from the contestant by bartering for answers - the audience CAN lie but they only cause themselves future problems if they do)
The contestant asked the audience for help, so they all waved their ID badges in the air (with an ID number attached so he can call them out by number) - he picked two women, both of whom told him they knew about history and had the correct answer. One woman explained her daughter was doing A-levels history and as she had been helping her daughter with research, she was fairly on top of her history...
The presenter observed that he had frequently picked up only women to assist and ignore many men's help.
The contestant explained; "No offence meant, but I find women more honest..." to which the audience seemed mixed between booing & cheering (which is an improvement over day time tv shows where the audience are told to cheer anti-male sexism). Credit due to the presenter, he responded, "Tell me... how a statement like that not supposed to be offensive?". Naturally, it was all in good fun so this presenter won't be sacked for defending himself from anti-male sexism.
So anyway, the guy chooses the woman he wants to help him... upon locking down his choice, she admits "Well, actually, I don't know anything about history and my daughter isn't really in college... but I might still be able to help"
She offered him her answer, and promptly lost him the chance to win £25,000 as well as having bartered from him £250 for a wrong answer.
Bitch!
But hey, the way I see it - those two deserved one another

Husband : "How about the ones like mine?"
Wife : "Those they gave away."
Husband : "I had a dream too...I dreamt they were auctioning off pussy. The pretty ones went for a thousand dollars, and the little tight ones went for two thousand."
Wife : "And how much for the ones like mine?"
Husband : "That's where they held the auction."
