Help required with supporting AM for next two months

The current costs of running AM come to £42 per month.

Last month, I called on a friend of mine and AM's who dug deep in his pocket and sorted out the costs for one month there and then to ensure we were here for this month..

However, due to financial issues out of my control (which I'm slowly regaining control of) - I need to ask none-paying members to consider chipping in.

PLEASE - if you have a couple of pounds in your pocket that you can safely send in to AM, hit that big paypal button at the top of this page. I am currently unable to afford the costs for the next couple of months. AM had a very kind but anonymous donation a few months back which went on monthly costs and annual renewal costs...

But at this moment, I can't afford loo-roll, let alone luxuries.

So please consider dropping either a hefty £42 my way or even just a few spare quids in the back-pocket, please do so.

If you're unable to help on a donation term, at least consider a short-term & interest-free loan for about 3 months...

C'mon guys, I can't leave it all in the hands of a select few (self included) to cover costs..... dig in & chip-in!!!!

My mop up tissues expenses are considerable too marx, but I am sure I can spare a few bleueys to keep this ship afloat as a constant presence much needed by the beleaguered sex we strive to improve the lot of..

Every regular here should be able to recognise the benefits and help of this site and the hard work needed in keeping it going.

Do you still have the system of "subscriptions" etc. that were in place a year or so ago?

When folks are charging £50 a head for a day chatting to folks no better than the experienced chaps who give out free advice here to every man woman and child in the world, it is surely not much to ask that those who value this web-resource sacrifice the price of a pint or ten to ensure it stays operational and worth the great deal of energy expended by the webmaster..

I can't see any pay pal button or any way to donate. I'm looking hard right now - but no - there's nothing. Otherwise I would have done so by now.

It needs to be big and prominent and say "DONATE NOW - WE NEED YOU!"

On reading the OP I have to say that I was a little distressed to read of your difficulties in keeping this place going Marx. I’ve sent a modest amount and only wish I could afford more as being on welfare means giving donations is a rare act for me.

I hope things improve for AM.

Indeed so... due to adblocking technology, which I have requested many times previously for people to disable when viewing this site or at least add AM to their adblocker white-list (exception list, etc.). I realise not everone wants to see adverts all over the place, but registered members only see one advert per page... it's not asking too much for one unobtrusive ad which helps cover costs.

No problem Marx - I've made a donation too.

It might make it sweeter to know that this money comes from the profits of the sale of my house. I sold it to a single mother who refused to allow "her" baby's father into the child's life.

AM is now being supported with this woman's money.

PS.Don't invest it in Greek government bonds. ;-)
