Folks,
I'm a local radio Ham and every year up until now, we have hosted what is known as JOTA (Jamboree On The Air) where young Scouts get on the air and talk to other Scouts the world over.
Girls here in NZ are allowed to join the Scouts, but Boys are NOT allowed to join the Girl Guides ( I can't think why they would anyway).
But, it's not the kids that are the problem, it's the mothers and Scout leaders that are female these days, (since all the men have been scared away with allegations of paedo-philia(sp?)).
I was talking to a representative of the local scouts today, she said that all people there would need to be vetted by the police if they were single , I asked if that would include her and the other Scout leaders, I was told that it would mean anyone coming onto the property (ie: men).
I'm sorry, but the kids will suffer, we aren't going to take this BS.
There will be no JOTA this year in our area, the feminists killed it.

That's really sad, Mike T. It's not just the men who are being discriminated against, either. It's one more thing that boys are being robbed of. My son's very active in Boy Scouts, he's even interviewed for a staff position over the summer at Cedar Badge. Our scout program is still led by men and attended only by boys...and that's a good thing. Boys need a place to be boys. We went to a parent night at one of my son's Scout Camps this summer and one of the songs they sang was all about how there wasn't any moms here and so they could just have fun and act like boys. It's such an important part of a boy's childhood, that interaction with other boys and with men...but feminists can't handle allowing them to have even that little bit.

A blatant hypocrisy that is repeated worldwide within the Scout and Cubs movement. The fems have destroyed something that has for generations instilled self sufficiency, inquisitiveness, cooperation, resourcefulness and confidence etc within boys, as well as allowing them to freely express themselves without feeling inhibited by the presence of females.

How about creating a breakaway organization, and then courting the media as to why this is necessary?

The fems seek to control every aspect of a males existence from cradle to grave.

Indeed, just as most boys don't really want to join the girl guides, so girls given "the choice" wouldn't want to join the Scouts either. But feminist orientated parents (mostly mothers) are using their daughters as political chess pieces. Disgusting!

I was in a fathers group that was an offshoot of f4j a few years ago and one of the ideas we had was a "father and child reunion playday"..

We got together in a park and opened up for dads and kids to come along and play games of cricket, kite flying etc..

There was no "checking" of our criminal records etc..

we just go on with it..

The local media however stated that they could not publicise it or attend and take pics because of the fact that some of the kids where subject to court actions etc..

Hell I remember when I was in the scouts, I really enjoyed that, just hanging out with Bros with no hos around, camping feildcraft and such, damn the feminists to hell for ruining such a good thing.

Fuck I wish murder was legal because if it was I'd grab some tools and go hunting but sadly this can not happen because if society's laws as well as the laws of God.

As usual women push their way in a all male group, yet refuse to allow the groups for women to be open to males(Like we care) and just like the workplace, men only gyms, men only colleges or male athletic dressing rooms the women push their way in and start making new rules for the men to abide by while stirring shit incessantly. I was a boy scout and it pisses me off to no end that women can't leave it alone. Girl scouts is nothing like the boy scouts where boys learn a great deal of good things to help them and others all their lives while girls learn how to force people to hand over money for the sake of the group leaders. Now it's only a matter of time before the boys scouts are selling cookies.

It's a fact mate,
I've been a coach of young cricketers that want to be wicket-keepers for some years now, I've been 'keeping since I was 7 and I really enjoy what I do.
But, there is a certain stigma to be overcome when you are single,male, middle-aged and have no kids of your own, but enjoy coaching young kids of either sex.
It really pisses me off when people have to come down to the lowest common denominator and think that people that coach kids should be kept an eye on, because "possibly, there's something wrong with them".

Some people need to just get over themselves.

It's interesting despite a mountain of evidence to the contrary, the general public still wrongly believe men are the sole sexual predators within the educational system.

Women, especially female teachers are the overwhelming predominant perpetrators of sexual liaisons between teacher and pupil. Fact! Sexist attitudes that still prevail reinforce the misconception that the greatest (and only) threat to children emanates from the 'sole' participation of male teachers.

It's not just female teachers either. I distinctly recall a story about a male pupils mother who sexually preyed upon the 'underage' friends he brought home. When she was caught it transpired in court she had illegal sex with some 36 different underage schoolboys. Punishment? None! Benefits? Yes. A UK newspaper paid her for her story. The public didn't call for her to meet a grisly end as punishment (as they most definitely would with a man) and I suspect many women secretly envied her experience.

This calls to mind my experience here in Winnipeg (Canada).

When I was 6 years old (1972), I joined the local Cubs, which just happened to meet at St. Ignatius Church Hall.

For at least the first 3 years or so there were two adults leaders... one Englishman (Baloo was his name), and a middle-aged woman. I can't remember her name, but she was one of those micromanaging control freaks. I hated her then and I hate people like her today - I have a couple like that at the office.

Baloo took us to some really cool places like City Hall, the Provincial Legislature, and restaurants like Grubee's and Bonanza.

All I remember of the woman was how she made us memorize the Cubs "duty" thingie.

Even at the time I thought it odd that a woman was leading the boys group.

Yet, when I joined my Dad to pick up my sister from
Girl Guides I never noticed a male leader.

I also remember that episode of The Brady Bunch where the boys complain of Jan wanting to join the Boy Scouts, but the girls made a big fuss about Peter joining the Guides...

It wasn't until the Fall of 1975 that the woman left, became leader of the Girl Guides or Brownies. This left a space open for one of the senior Scouts to become Scout our leader in addition to Baloo.

Who let this happen? I'll tell you who made this happen - and everything else involving feminazi dictatorship and power control - MEN! Sadly, very sadly, it's the fault of men that feminist ideology has now got out of control and women have wormed their way into practically every organisation which was primarly a male concern. The Scouting movement is an excellent example of this, and now we see the result of all this in the posts in this thread.

The world is now full of men, many in very high positions of so called power and influence, who seem to have become hypnotised by the evils of feminism and are too bloody scared to do anything about it, let alone offer any kind of protest, however limp. We see it all around us on a day by day basis, and these females have literally been given the green light to wreak their havoc in the Scouting organisation. These women are not content with just having separate similar all female organisations like the Guides, which continue but with membership strictly prohibited for males on the diktat of the feminist controlled women's groups. Yet at the same time they also want a say in anything to do with former all-male groups - for some reason they just can't stand the idea of anything involving an all-male organisation without the right for females to join. This is sexism. Incredibly, sexism doesn't apply when it comes to males being forbidden to join th all female groups.

Anything men do which does not include women is anathaema to most women - in their way of thinking it should not be allowed - men should not be permitted to have their own separate organisations, and as a result we have seen one male bastion after another fall victim to the relentless female invasion.

Yet there has been very little, if any, opposition from men about this deliberate action by women to deny them any kind of refuge from female influence. As I say, it seems as if men are terrified of displaying any kind of "anti woman" sentiment for fear oif a backlash from the PC brigade, mostly led by strident, often misandrist, women. And at the same time all female organisations remain sacrosanct and totally barred from any male incursion.

So the fault lies with men, for allowing western society to become the mess it is today, riddled with double standards and social and moral decline, thanks largely to the activities of the feminists demanding their rights but ignoring out their responsibilities.

If men wish to continue to allow themselves to be done-over by women in so many ways, even down to allowing themselves to be mocked and ridiculed and abused (oftren unfairly) on daytime feminist run TV shows (one of which must be the biggest male mangina on British TV) then that's their privilege.

In the same vein, then, it's men who have allowed these harpies to infiltrate and infest the decent and character building all male organisation like the Scout Movement where boys are taught by men to be decent men themselves.
