Because NZ is a small country of 4 million people it is easy to see what is happening. The University researchers are easy to keep up with. The community groups are easy to keep up with. The laws and political moves are easy to keep up with. And there are plenty of people quite happy to speak openly about issues. Working in the community gives you a special key to obtain information also. But just like working in any field in a small country you can have doors shut fast in you face and opportunities taken away from you if you don't play your cards right. Condemning feminist at this stage would be one of those moves to shut you down. It has been a brick wall for men for decades. (I am not a lion. I am a fox) Men's rights and men's groups are strong regarding child support and Family Court issues and Father's rights. Father's issues are very important and there is strong support throughout the country. Teenage issues are very important to NZ also and there are statist approaches to solve this problem and there are community approaches to solve this problem. I want to make this very, very clear that I absolutely 100% oppose statist solving. It is bureaucracy and very harmful for our youth. The Government system in NZ does not work for the benefit of the youth. It has proven that over and over again. The catch is that people who step forward to help in the community need resources. That is a reality that cannot be ignored. So, they look from the outside that they are following a statist approach yet they are people who have come in to help and they bring their own expertise of doing life. Most groups that care for men and for youth cannot take a side in this gender war. It is not in the best interest for their purpose. What about the women who care about men in the prisons on false rape charges? What rights can they bring? None. They can only fight back the system. What about mothers of boys (this is my new tool) who are wanting to fight the education system to care for their boys? What are they after? Male teachers for one. The school system to start changing to suit boys is another. I guess that falls under a men's right. What about the men who fight the Government? Wow, that is a movement involving 10's of thousands of people. What about the Maori? They help men and they help youth and they fight politically. Well, they fight the Government too. They also are on the outside. Now all this combined makes for a very strong movement. That's a worry for the Government wouldn't you say? We are looking pretty good about now. But the Government has no intention of allowing the people power. So they diversify by bringing in immigrants. With the Trade agreement between NZ and China signed (we are the first in the world to do so) 800,000 new immigrants will be coming in from this country alone. This has set back our movement. We have just been ignored. All of us. And with this new move, the country is going to find it hard to form it's army. So, no, FFF. I am NOT a feminist. Nor am I a statist. You have been watching my growth. And grow I have. Ignorance is the Oppressor, Vigilance the Liberator.

Ever the pragmatic fox, Jools, who knows how to dig under the fence. Good for you and more power to your elbows. You have my admiration for the digging you do. You are not one to lean on the shovel. This 800,000 immigrants sound a bit suss though. Can you give chapter and verse on that. What is the source and the details.
I have tried all my life to leave the place better than I found it. But there are 6 billion other buggers out there messing it up. I am outnumbered. But... YOU don't just make a difference, you make THE difference. ![]()

The discussion was around the Maori fight against the Government. Whether somehow this has been added up as 18,000 families I have not been able to tell. Or whether it sounds similar and has changed through chinese whispers. ![]() ![]() ![]() The opposition has said that there is not enough gained for NZ in this. Radio interview http://tinyurl.com/4wjquy Government site http://www.mfat.govt.nz/News/index.php This has been another lesson. Always check the facts on every thing you hear. Hearsay is not a good thing to publish. The rest of the article is from my own eyes and speaking to others myself. Ignorance is the Oppressor, Vigilance the Liberator.

Being popular with the state and feminists is not my idea of "strength".. Quote:
So, they are getting "control on the cheap".. I wonder what is better, the unpaid control freaky volunteer or the idle-arsed state sector parasite just turning up for the money.. Personally, I like the idea that families and communities look after their own from the own resources.. and the state can help that by not taking so much tax off them!! Quote:
The laws on rape are what enables this travesty.. Most "rapists" plead innocence.. Most accusers are.. Well.. I wont go into what I think of the Yo-Yo knickered.. Quote:

As long as you are looking for the state to give you power, you are playing thier game.. Sometimes, you just have to NOT COMPLY with them and refuse to walk that way when you know it aint right..

FFF, I have not gone into your comment and answered bit by bit because I think you need to challenge your own side and not me. I have not been in this as long as the men in NZ. Some have been in this for 20 years plus. I am sure your own country has a movement you could challenged. I am sure your country has quite a number of people caring for the youth. They are the ones who would be best to hear your suggestions. Your country is a lot richer than mine. Generally, all Western Countries are working under the same laws and opportunities.

The young dont need caring for.. At least, not the "adult" young.. They need respect.. Its not directed at you personally as much as directed at the voice of the mens movement, which here you seem to have positioned yourself, at least as regards NZ men.. But as a woman, you prefer to avoid the challenges that come with responsibilities.. Shame really.. But not unexpected as when women take these positions, they like the men to answer the tough questions that they cant.. Seems 20 years has not made much progress.. Its like Rob Fedders said, its just folk jockeying for positions in groups, like they do..
