Women beating men to council jobs

The headline actually implies there has been some sort of fair competition involved where women are 'beating' men to top jobs. If you rig the process through quotas then there is no competition, merely a foregone conclusion.

The 510th starts the next level down, the not so top earners, but a lot better than the ones 2219 below who are the nearly not so top paid down to 14000, who are simply well paid compared to the 27,000 modestly paid below them. Then we get to the street cleaners and road repairers and the sewerage chaps who are just paid. Sometimes.

Council culture exists to generate false employment for those who are unemployable by inability or more often, attitude. It may not have been designed as so, in fact I think it was set up to serve the populace generally. But to my observation, it has become an employment racket in function. You can be as unemployable and incompetent as possible, but as long as you are ready to speak in the deepest council culture spin, you get a job.

It’s just a collection of anti-Weston, anti-wealth producing, anti white male specifically and anti male generally clichés that you need to be fluent in, to get a job there. You can be as useless as possible to work with those requirements. In fact they won’t like you if you have integrity and a conscience about providing a public service, they only want to hear your council culture spin.

Over the last few decades the country has produced wealth which we now squander employing a third of our ‘work force’ in public sector jobs. How comes when we didn’t employ such a huge proportion of people, society didn’t fall apart? They make their employment racket sound essential to us, when it is only essential to employ people with attitudes that cannot work in productive jobs.

It’s like such a con to me, and I can’t find the words to express the revulsion and contempt I have for employment racketeers. Feminists have an almost perfect attitude to be employment racketeers.

I saw Billy Connolly live in concert in september and one of his wee stories was about how in New Zealand, manhole covers are to be called person-hole covers or something to that effect. And billy said that the minute a woman was willing to go down a sewer and shovel shit, then and only then can it be called a person-hole cover. Until then it's a fucking manhole cover ;o)

Scotland is rotten with public sector jobs that don't actually generate any wealth. It's not sustainable the number of people we have working in the public sector and the fact that they have gold-plated pensions that are paid directly from tax revenues (there is no pension pot).
