Video: Equality and War

This is a series of 3 superb videos on the mind-blowingly colossal double standard epitomized in women's exemption from the most horrific violence of war, even as women demand equal pay, benefits and authority within military institutions. The videos are produced by Man, Woman & Myth and were just announced on March 20, 2010.

The videos are strung together into a Youtube playlist. Youtube limits each individual video to 10 minutes apiece, and so to get around this, you can create a playlist consisting of two or more videos. When the person watching the video gets to the end of each video in the playlist, the player automatically flips over to the next video in the list without any intervention by the person watching. In this way, you can have hour-long videos that are spliced together to form an uninterrupted and continuous experience. The playlist shown below consists of 3 parts, at about 10 minutes in duration per part.

i was watching this yesterday when the site was down and this was on the front page

my son was walking by and started watching it also-he was in awe-i think he is catching on-to the bias men face

as all he could say in the end was

"that's just bullshit!"

I too have seen a lot of his videos, and the consistency with which he hits the nail on the head never fails to astonish me. I just wish I could share them with the pro-female people I know without having to face the screeching...

Of which the inevitable rebuttal will be 'men started those wars, so it's only fair they should die fighthing them embracing their violent natures'.

Or something like that...

When we give out recognition awards for best men's advocate of the year for 2010, I think that it's safe to say that Man, Woman and Myth will be the hands-down winner.

I think this demonstrates that we need to look into the idea of getting boys to do media-studies at college... The videos this guy does are wonderful.

Most impressive, had trouble watching the third vid due to my laggy net conection but I have BMed the site and going to DL the vids when I get a chance.
I think that these videos should be apart of the males studes that they are talking about because these videos are smack dab on the money
