TTC travel convenience provided to women only.

TTC request stop is a service that allows women only to get off the bus in between regular bus stops during the night hours 9pm-5am so that they dont need to walk as far at night. This was a response to pressure from womens groups and violence against women groups. This service is available to all women. This service is not available to any men. This is a pretty clear double standard. The York region transit system provides the same service.

So, what happens if a husband & wife, or boyfriend & girlfriend want to get off at the same spot... does she get to leave the bus while he must remain and only leave at the next designated 'man stop'? Pathetically pathetic.

More chauvinistic discrimination. Statistically men are far more likely to be attacked in public.

Surely violence by strangers, is something the vast majority of law abiding citizens (men and women) should be protected from.

When you implement such measures which seeks to protect one group (women) and not another (men) it reinforces chauvinism and banishes the excluded group to being perceived as of lesser intrinsic value.

I see an opportunity for a protest. Ride the bus carrying a sign that tells everyone that it discriminates against men.

I often see women walking home late at night.

I find it absolutely astonishing that they choose to do so wearing what can only be described as rather trouser-rousing attire..

I used to be a gent and offer them a lift home to keep them safe from maruading sex pests..

Now I just let them find their own way..

I got rather tired of being lumbered with demanding women who think that just because you offer them a lift home they are entitled to not just a bit of hows your father, but some bizarre rape fantasy scenario..

I kid you not my good fellows.. I kid you not!!

I even ended up marrying one of them!!
