It took 207 convictions to put her in prison!
Quote from Article; "A woman thief who preyed on the elderly was finally locked up yesterday – after amassing 207 convictions.
Despite her extraordinary criminal record, Caroline Pattinson, 34, had been spared prison on countless occasions.
But after targeting a 72-year-old grandmother in her home the heroin addict was at last sentenced to two-and-a-half years in jail.

How can anyone feel safe from criminals when the judges refuse to put a criminal away because of her being the female gender.
It is quite appalling to see this sort of justice being handed down to people who has proved they are beyond redemption.
It is a shameless state of affairs in the British Courts which currently are making rulings worthy of a third rate circus clown.

I think this woman should be worried about the next 200 crimes.....she could actually get in even more trouble.

Re: It took 207 convictions to put her in prison!
I read the news article. Just totally amazing. This woman committed crime after crime, got caught, got slapped on the hand and was told to move along. This type of crap need to be used to show the double standard on how men vs women are treated in the courts in the U.K. Someone across the pond needs to find out why this woman kept on getting pussy passes, 206 of them to be exact before the 207th bit a little. A couple years for 207 crimes? Wow. If you assess even 3 months per crime committed it turns out to be 51 3/4 years behind bars.

She gets the pussy pass and and the druggy pass.. I think the authorities love druggy types because it keeps them in work so the longer they can keep those fuckheads in circulation the more they can guarantee their own business of trying to fix problems without actually succeeding..

To add insult to injury (as if needed) she may be out of prison before the year is out, and probably back in prison the following year.
The judges do not care if they are looked upon as stooges, as long as they cash in from Legal Aid, which is funded by the tax payer.

Maybe it is time to lock up the judges who do not rule according to the law. It is obvious that they have become the law themselves and rule as assinine as possible.

Most Judges are pompous assholes.

Re: It took 207 convictions to put her in prison!
Judges are probably pompous because they are considered "more important" within the courts than you or I and because of their title. Why do we have to address them as "your honor" regardless of any lack thereof? I am sure there are more honorable people that are esteemed in a more modest fashion.
It is an unfortunate human trait to feel self important based on one's status or position in life. We must avoid indulging in the very same behaviors that we despise in others when opportunity presents itself. For instance, we should make sure not to judge people by their standing in life if it is considered beneath our own as judges do to us in the court of law. This is difficult to do since this kind of behavior is so heavily encouraged in our society.
It's so difficult to be a saint when we dwell in the midst of devils; especially when it goes against our very nature to be saints. I, myself, face a constant struggle with trying to be better than that which I oppose and I'm not yet sure if this is a battle that I am ready to overcome. When I do this, and I know I will, it will be comparable to the lame learning to walk, the blind being enabled to see and the suffocated breathing again. The sky isn't the limit; there are no limits.

The law is a prolapsed anus. It used to be just an ass.. Judges enjoy a view of the world from within the rectum of the law's they chose to apply..

My guess is that the only reason the thiefette is in jail is that the old woman was her first female victim that she got caught robbing!
