this reminds me of a ruling in a South Australian court where a wimyn threw an accelerant over her husband to punish him for imagined philandering; sure enough the sexist died from his burns a few weeks later and she was arrested for murder! she was found guilty but released by the learned judge because she has suffered enough

They've titled the proposal Justice for women who kill: a new way.

Basically, their trying to introduce laws that allow women to kill you(men) for free.

I hope that sense prevails and this does not make law. It will not only make a lot of men unsafe but a lot of women too: many men who suspect they might be about to be killed will instead strike 'first' - and mistakes are bound to occur. The ramifications on children, and therefore on future generations of adults, would be horrendous.
