Yes, it's the arrogance of power, I sure hope that nobody here voted labour. I certainly didn't vote for the Dutch equivalent. Unfortunately, all parties seem to support this madness. You can't vote against it.

I think the time has come to recognise that when talking about the 17% wage difference it should be specified if the median or mean salary is being talked about. The number of hours worked, longevity of employment, training done should all be factored into the equation. If after this is done and there is still a notable difference then something should be done about it. However I don't think it should be along the lines of affirmative action because that follows the ideology of "we are all equal only some of us are more equal than others"!

All these parties are similar. This country needs an MRA party to pressure main parties to end this nonsense.
