    More double standards

Judge refuses to jail woman plumber who glassed nightclubber that smiled at her 'because she had been sexually harassed during training' | Mail Online

    Now , I think it's official .
Men really are second class citizens . This guy was glassed by this woman ,yet SHE is considered the real victim , because she "suffered" sexual harrasment .
One wonders how she got the job in the 1st place ,was she one of the beneficeries of "positive discrimination "
Look at her picture long and hard . She represents the most privalidged groups of British society

ya gotta realise that in the West the latter days of new age communism are being implemented - feminitism is merely a tool !

the staus of men now is that of attendants ans peonage slaves and clearly under such an environment wimyn can do no wrong - all the fault of the slaves

this is the phase that the KGB defector Yuri Bezmenov ( see you tube) termed ad normalisation where bullshit rules and is indefintite

    Re: More double standards

At one point he said that she threw the glass 'without knowing' it was in her hand and described the victim as being 'in the wrong place at the wrong time'.
Yeah, we know how that is. I often just sling my hand towards someone else's face in a pub, in a throwing motion. I guess I've just been lucky that I always put my glass of beer down first. Yeah, sure.

Judge Wassall said she [the attacker] had an 'impeccable character'
Oh, right, so now people who attack strangers in pubs have impeccable characters, eh? It seems that standards in the UK are falling heavily. I wonder what behaviour is required to have a 'stained character.'

The judge didn't even hand out an ASBO, let alone a suspended sentence!

The face of a fool: Judge Wassall

Next time you smile at someone you will need to make sure they have not had a hard day because if they throw a knife or something at you and injure you it will probably be your fault according to this idiot judge.

    Re: More double standards

How is the "sexual harassment" relevant, when the victim was in no way responsible for which, whether it happened or not???!!! And to think that this decision was made in a building I can see from my office; talk about having misandry on your doorstep.......

    Added after 12 minutes:

And it's not the first time she's made the news: ONE young lady making her mark in a man's world is Sheona Keith, who is studying for her advanced apprenticeship in heating and ventilating with Mitie Engineering Services and PGL Training. | This is Exeter

and: Biker Sheona's anger as company issues her with £70 parking fine | This is Exeter | This is North Devon. Complaining about having a parking fine, here? Consider it a surcharge, for an awful crime you were to be UNDERcharged for, love.

    Added after 13 minutes:

"The court heard how Keith - described as an 'attractive' young woman - had been subjected to years of sexual harassment at the plumbing firm where she worked."

Yet, in the article I've linked, from APRIL 27TH 2011, she says: "When I told people my plans I think it's safe to say everyone laughed. But now I am progressing and they can see I have made a good career choice everyone is really supportive. I chose plumbing because it opens so many doors, and doing my apprenticeship with Mitie has been amazing. I have learnt so much. Every day I am challenging myself and go home exhausted but happy."

    'Harassment' card, anyone?

    Added after 8 minutes:

"Passing sentence, Judge Wassall told Keith: 'You worked hard but your chosen line of work took you into a completely male-dominated environment and one where, I am afraid, you had to put up with sexist comments and harassment which there is no excuse for.'There is nothing I can do to stop it. It is intolerable and should not happen, but it does happen."

He pays more attention to this supposed fact, than the actual crime; unbelievable...

    And my latest comment:

What amazes me, is how the Judge is speaking as if he's her best friend, and knows her really well. First off: do we KNOW she suffered sexual harassment? All we KNOW is that she has proved herself capable of GLASSING an INNOCENT person; therefore, who's to say whether the claims are true, or not? Has anyone even checked the claim that she reported sexual harassment to her boss, or could this be but a ploy to get a more lenient sentence, that sadly worked? And even if she DID, given her obviously awful character, why should we put lying about such things, past her? Assuming she DID suffer harassment, and what? Yeah, it's wrong, for sure, but what on Earth does this have to do with some guy SMILING at her in a club? How is a totally unrelated thing "mitigating"? There's then the unbelievable excuse of her apparently not knowing she had a glass in her hand........er, does she have dementia? Why was she doing a throwing motion, if believing her hand to be empty? Is this April Fool's Day?

I wonder if this judge could be contacted? Or the victim? I don't think this case should be laid to rest so easily.

    Re: More double standards

As an example of just how great ARE the double standards, look at how the sentencing differs, with the SAME JUDGE, when the culprit is male, in a very similar incident: Judge clamps down on drunken violence | This is Devon.

One gets fined £400, no sentence; one gets 18 months...........I wonder how it would compare again, were the culprit male, and the victim, female...........

I read the article, the judge's comments and verdict almost equated to a character reference for the freaking twit!

This Judge definitely deserves some big back lash!!! If you did find contact details for him, I'd definitely be up for giving him a piece of my mind!!! It really seems according to him, that just for being a woman, you can be excused for psychotic behaviour. The world is going mad!!!!!!

And not only the Judge, but also the girl in question. Exactly the sort of result that feminism supports. Thing is, this isn't even helping women, per se; it's helping BAD women.......and they wonder why female crime is on the rise.

    Tax dollars at work!

Sexual harassment at work shouldn't be an excuse for avoiding jail time. Commit a crime, be responsible!

I've always taken comments about my looks as compliments. I encountered a man who told me I was beautiful, after he thanked me for opening the door for him at a bus stop (he was getting off).

And that is the killer double standard, any excuse whatsoever to let a woman who has committed a crime off easy. Feminism has become the enabler of women to act out, act with malice, act with criminal intent, and face a judge that praises them for their integrity and character. Symptomatic of a society which is unbalanced in law and rooted in feminist defined gender stereotypes.

Sorry Girls, it's not the Partiarchy at work this time, but it's ok since the double standard beneffited one woman at the expense of common sense and equality under law........
