Misandry where it hangs out: Cosmo article

Why Women Love Bad Boys - What Makes Bad Boys Sexy - Cosmopolitan

This is so utterly vapid and adolescent, that it's hard to even discuss how it would be received in that oft-repeated hypothetical scenario of gender role reversal. You might want a paper bag just in case you can't make it to the toilet in time, but try and get through this.

I have heard that a woman's vote can be predicted by the time of their cycle.

This just helps prove that theory.

This is just another example of the coin-toss doublethink of feminist and post-feminist doctrine:

Heads: Women are not to be judged or diminished because of their cycles, because as rational beings they can rise above them.

Tails: Women are not to be judged or diminished as irrational beings, because they have cycles and therefore no one has the right to expect them to be rational.

Heads: Women's sexuality should not be trivialized because that's what makes them special.

Tails: Women are so special they can trivialize themselves all they want, and men along with them.

Heads: Men shall not see women as sex objects, regardless of how it makes men feel.

Tails: Men are nothing but sex objects, if that's how a woman feels about them on a given day.

Heads: 'Bad boys' are under-matured, misogynist, abusive predators

    Tails: "Where's mine?"

That's why I don't read that fembot garbage. The articles bash men and play up to female victimhood. Glamour and Elle are fembot crap too. I just stick to InStyle and Allure, which aren't loaded with fembot crap.

It's worth remembering, as always, that Cosmo is an "aspirational" magazine. It's audience is 16-17 year-old teenaged girls ("Seventeen" is targeted at 12-year-olds).

Cosmo for adults is named "Psychology Today".

Pfft. Thank you for reminding me why I don't read Cosmo. First of all, we're not all attracted to bad, dangerous men. Or even those who look like bad, dangerous men. Why in hell would I want that kind of chaos in my life? In my childrens' lives? Some of us have more sense than that. Then again, some of us think with our heads.

    Ever seen "Roger Dodger"?

It's a story about a slick Manhattan ad exec trying to train his teenage nephew in the art of picking up women.

There's an awesome scene where he's got two gals at their table and he makes a speech about how, despite the throwaway claim women make that a guy's "sense of humor" is the first point of attraction, if some leather-clad biker were to come in to the club just then, that these two urbane, "self-reliant" women would go "weak at the knees, I mean, WEAK-at-the-KNEES" over him.

Urban myth? Ladies, care to comment?

Re: Misandry where it hangs out: Cosmo article

I've known a number of attractive women who lusted after the bad boys year after year, then something dreadful happened. The women turned 35 years old and then it was a frustrating, painful scramble to find a man to settle down with.

Women have the most sexual value in their 20's, for men it starts at around 30. While women shag every bad boy they can in their 20's, ignoring the non-bad boys, they run into a wall in their 30's since the men (the non-badboys) have become successful and are at the peak of their sexuality desire younger women at the peak of their sexuality.

Older generations would steer their daughters toward young men with high potential, so the woman would spend her beauty and sexual energy on a younger man who would go on to become successful and take care of the family. The man got sex, love, encouragement from his mate. The woman would have children and security and the love of her mate. That social contract is long gone.

Women want men to value them and marry them in their mid to late 30's and 40's, after having spent their sexually prime years on bad boys and men that would make them tingle. Men in their 30's who are coming into power and wealth are supposed to suddenly risk it all for a woman who would not give him the time of day when he was 25?

Biology and evolution have a big say in this situation. Mature men in their 30's and 40's are attracted to younger women because the younger women are at their sexual peak and are fertile. As women age and lose their fertility, they simply become less attractive in men's eyes.

Women spending their sexually prime years shagging all the bad boys and then crying about the nasty men who won't marry them when they hit 35 or 40 is a situation of their own making, it's not the men at fault here despite the massive media shaming campaigns and incredible pressure to change mens biological programming. Men will simply follow their biological programming and seek out younger, fertile women. We would not have been so successful as a species if that was not the case.

Yes, women have most of their sexual value in their 20's. The second wave feminists and dried out harridans know it so well that they have to slap them down every chance they get. Hence the silent war between the second and third wave feminists.
It's a war driven by venom and petty jealousy. A war that the liberal media is too f--king embarrassed to shed any light upon.
