    Misandry in Advertising

Good article highlighting the misandry in the Advertising world. Glen Sacks is quoted and there were very good comments apart from, the feminist bitch, Dawn

    Dorks, dweebs and dummies

For decades, TV ads patronised women. Then it was men’s turn to be belittled. It’s time we moved on

Even TV ads for Lynx, the men's deodorant, blatantly demean men through female-on-male violence. It's sufficiently graphic that a complaint should be lodged to the various advertising authorities - in Ireland, that's the ASAI.

Verizon wireless was one of the worst of these and has changed their ads due to the emails of angry men. I hope Verizons goes bust.
They won't. The women's market they are focusing on is far too lucrative. The Empowered Woman is the Capitalist's Wet Dream, remember?

The essence of misandric advertising is found in the comments here:

"Eventually the ad industry, through research, found that women 25-54 to be the most impressionable among all demographic groups and the race was on.

The reason the ad industry attacks men in such droves is that it makes the female buyer feel EMPOWERED. And really, what is the risk to the advertiser? Men won't buy their product? They weren't going to anyway!

    It's all about the money."
They don't want men watching ads, they simply do not care about men. They represent nothing commercially.

Of course, if men's rights put a lot of pressure on and stop letting women and industrialists away with everything, things can change. It will take a legal, mainstream political effort. Otherwise the free market wants women consumers and women only, and women are happy to tag along with all its massaging of their collective egos in the process.

In a style that is consistent with the Australian Army's recruitment ad in which men are poorly represented, or the Australian K-Mart ad in which men are totally absent, UK supermarket ASDA (part of Walmart) have produced a Christmas ad which suggests that it is only mums who are responsible for a "great Christmas" and fathers contribute, well, NOTHING.

You can add your 'dislike' vote here:
Behind every great Christmas there's mum - Asda TV ad - YouTube

Or comment on the ASDA Facebook page:
    https://www.facebook.com/Asda

... or the Fathers4Justice Facebook page:

    Let's get mean about this!!
