Men can be victims of abuse, too!

You can write or call, info at the end of the recording. The problems with this policy is that it excludes almost half of the victim's of d.v..
And here I thought "common values of Canadian's" was to help everyone in need and not just the preffered half of victim's.
I wonder how many men have had to stay in violent relationship's because they had no where to take their children to escape d..v.?Last edited by outdoors; 25th-January-2012 at 01:57 AM. Reason: content auto merged

Re: Lack of housing can keep women in abusive homes-expert says
If there is such a lack of housing what do they expect men who are kicked out of their homes to do?
Men do not have access to all of those government resources designed to keep women from being homeless.
So the story really should read that MEN stay in abusive relationships in part because of lack of housing and resources to even obtain housing when they are kicked out of the family home.
Stories like this are so obviously gynocentric that I am constantly amazed that the author, publisher and readership can ignore the outright sexism of the article.Last edited by chevalier; 25th-January-2012 at 02:16 AM.

Ya well....let's watch the CBC super moderation and censorship on this story.
You really have to listen to the recording and her so called "study" where she interviewed " "women" that felt the same".

oddly enough, the word I find most objectionable is "expert".. "Misandric cunt" is more appropriate..

Here's a substitute headline for the article:
"Males Make Up About Half of the Population--Women Hardest Hit".

Wife : "And how much for the ones like mine?"
Husband : "That's where they held the auction."

Re: Lack of housing can keep women in abusive homes-expert says
And how many MEN has she bothered to interview? Does an "expert" cut out 50% of the population from her interviews? I always find it amazing, how there's so much talk of WOMEN who stay in abusive relationships. Which gender has more support, if in an abusive relationship (i.e. refuges and protection by law)? Which gender has more to lose, by leaving a relationship (think assets and kids). So which gender is the one most likely more inclined to STAY in abusive relationships? Hmmmm, I wonder.......

Re: Lack of housing can keep women in abusive homes-expert says
Well obviously men can't be victims of violence, else our equality-seeking sistahs would demand gender neutral laws instead of sexist, biased laws... right?

Wasn't feminist research proven to be nothing but rubbish for the trash can?
Even the SOW is being sued for their disinformation to the general public.
This so-called expert actually depends on domestic violence to keep her paycheck, this is why she ignores and dismisses the other half of d.v. victim's.
If there was anything done to actually curb domestic violence then there would be a whole industry of feminist's looking for work.
To ignore men as d.v. victim's is to continue the circle of violence.
This woman actually support's domestic violence and doing anything at all to recognise the cure would put her job in jeopardy.
If you listen to the audio recording you will see her "studies" only include women who she classifies as "member's".Last edited by outdoors; 25th-January-2012 at 03:18 PM. Reason: content auto merged
