It is my strong feeling that a person's ideologies never go beyond what is in his or HER personal best interest. With regard to feminists, we will NEVER witness feminists promoting TRUE equality, because it would not benefit them. Their claims of fighting for equality are belied by the fact that, when it comes to the military draft, they never fight to have the draft ended for men, to have women drafted along side men, or to have women drafted instead of men so that the pendulum can swing the other way and women can start to pay back the centuries of debt they owe men.

If you want to quickly shut up a raving feminist, just mention her hypocrisy about the draft. Just be sure to be at least 10 feet away as she might start swinging!

...Though it was briefly abandoned at the end of World War 2, Germany has had compulsory military service more or less since the early 19th century, and a number of conservatives are opposing measures to reduce or even eliminate the drafting of teens into the military, insisting it will damage the “national identity.” There was massive opposition to the move by conservatives to reintroduce conscription in the 1950s.
Officials say that the move would not remove the option of conscription from the German Constitution but would effectively end its use. This appears to bring it in line with the US notion of military conscription, in which the US government still reserves the right to draft men into military service against their will, and forces them to register in case they decide to do so, but in practice has not been used in decades.

If Germany can do this, other countries can too.

I think that either both genders should be required to sign up for draft or none at all.

These feminists should be glad USA isn't like Israel, where everyone is required to serve or they go to jail. If USA tried that, the feminists would be crying and protesting in the streets.

the thing is, feminists have been supposedly begging for the right to be drafted for decades, in the name of equality. Yes, men created the policies, and many men want no women in the military.

They know that their "pleas" will never be taken seriously, and if there was ever a minute chance of this opinion sliding, they would jump to the other side faster than you could say "you've come a long way, sister"

it truly is an ingenious position. In today's ADD society, no one would even notice the flip.

The more I stay and hear, the more I get tired of this place.

I hope that the coming elections will get some people in for our side.

I still believe in that men and women should be required to sign at 18 or not at all.

That will be a big stepping stone for equality.

no...because women still only have to serve 2 years while men serve 3...theyd probably call that a "compromise"
