Teachers are being urged to stop using terms such as husband and wife when addressing students or families under a major anti-homophobia push in schools. The terms boyfriend, girlfriend and spouse are also on the banned list - to be replaced by the generic "partner" - in changes sought by the gay lobby aimed at reducing discrimination in classrooms. Schools are coming under pressure to provide lessons for gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender students and stack their libraries with books and videos covering their issues. Among the demands are the outlawing of homophobic comments by teachers or students in the playground and a requirement for teachers to receive "diversity training". Education Director-General Michael Coutts-Trotter emerged as a leader of the school anti-homophobia campaign, opening a Government-backed conference on sexual diversity - That's So Gay. The Federation of Parents and Citizens' Associations also weighed into the debate calling for "appropriate literacy materials promoting diversity in families". The radical shake-up means that families with two mums or two dads are set to be accepted as a normal part of school communities.

I live in NSW and everybody knows the Teachers Union here is Marxist and such want to transmute society back to the USSR horror and so they mean to brainwash the next generation with the communist chop logic as you know here in Australia the socialists (pinkos) are in power in the federal government and all the state governments and they are working their agenda as outlined by Herbert Marcuse to bring back the commissars and politically correct mentality big time

Absolutely. The terms misogynist, racist and homophobe are used constantly to attempt to control people with guilt and get them to comply with political correctness. Often, their uses are illogical and inaccurate. So now no one is supposed to use normal terms such as boyfriend, girlfriend, mom, dad, etc. just because some sodomites find it offensive? Tough. This proves they are not looking to be tolerated. They, like feminists and minorities, want to dominate and be in control. These groups are not looking for equality. They are looking to oppress their enemies.

Sounds like a platform for propaganda, recruitment and reeducating those pesky hetrosexuals.

And what will they do with all the other "useful" books to make way for their stack of poison? Have a big bonfire maybe? Sound familiar?

When did the vast hetrosexual majority become dictated to by a homosexual minority?

For the little "genuine" homophobia that previously existed, will eventually be replaced by a huge backlash to institutionalized social intrusions such as this.

More and more, as a white hetrosexual male, I'm beginning to feel like Will Smith in "I am Legend" (a reworking of the 1964 original - Last Man on Earth).

It's times like these I find the militant PC brigades almost as sickening as the hyper traditional bigots. If only they would realize the difference between "abnormality" and "abomination", which exactly distinguishes what and which is anything approaching a big deal.

Queer people are being unjustly beaten and killed for their abnormalities and they panic over assuming someone has a parental arrangement constituting the majority. And you wonder why I stopped associating with the left.

Its just this kind of crap that makes good people want to beat the crap out of every one of them. Forcing their perversion into public schools to recruit captive children is about as bad as it can get.

The reason why this is done is because it is effective, because it puts the reasonable person on the defensive. If he tries to defend himself, he looks as though he is confirming the accusation.

I have found a highly effective tactic is to accuse the accuser of being an "ideologue." And don't even acknowledge (much less defend against) the slurs that they hurl at you. Just call the person an "ideologue" and you will then have the moral high ground. How can a person refute the charge that they are an ideologue, other than to become less dogmatic?
