This is one of those things where I, being an American, will never undertstand about what is going on in the U.K right now. Is this a long term feature of the British people to infantalize women like this? I mean we over here overidealize women to an extent but nothing like this!
This is not equal protection or treatment under the law and it just throws any semblence of justice out of the window.

Could some of the folks in the U.K. please explain why the current colective political culture over there is so anti male and pro female? Just what is it with you people? Not to sound offensive but I realy want an explination I am so bewildered.

I don't think there is that much difference anywhere in the English speaking world, just differing policies that meet the same end, and its far from new in England to treat women as above (or beneath ?) the law, in the past husbands or fathers were punished for the crimes of women .... the most a woman would get is a scolds bridle to shut her yap.

Every now and then we will rebel, and roll out the ducking stools and light the bonfires ....... in fact we can't be too far from rebellion now

why not reduce wimyn inmates of prisons to 0

( they are not guilty of anything anyway - all men's fault) and thereby releasing their cells for the male chauvinistic pigs all tainted with original sin (being born male);

eventualy the UK and the other Western nations could be converted to open air prisons with the ambulatory male population being given enough slack to work themsleves to death for the benefit of the queer wimyn - redolent of the Auswitch programs ;
