    Re: Disposable Dads

In my spare time I teach many younger men auto racing. Their view of marriage is...there is nothing in it for why bother. Ok so some of them may delay experiencing, or miss out on, the good parts or marriage. But then so will the women. So women weren't really helped either?
No, in the end, none of us will benefit from the destruction of family and society. I think women are starting to realize that they made a few mistakes, the only problem is that many seem to think the solution is taking back all that they lost under feminism while retaining the privileges they gained.
"Every noble impulse, every unselfish expression of love; every brave suffering for the right; every surrender of self to something higher than self; every loyalty to an ideal; every unselfish devotion to principle; every helpfulness to humanity; every act of self-control; every fine courage of the soul, undefeated by pretense or policy, but by being, doing, and living of good for the very good’s sake—that is spirituality." -David O. McKay

For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Ephesians 6:12

I can't believe TERA is defending unilateral divorce! After all she should have learned by now.

"Divorce sucks no matter how you slice it...but I'm not sure I understand why a "fault" divorce is better than a "no fault" divorce. "

You can easily see the huge jump in divorce rates, state -by-state, as NF laws went into place over the years. Also, the husbands of housewives earned more money in states without NF. It seems that investment in marriage is subconsciously affected by NF laws. (See "The case for marriage" by Waite and Gallagher) That leads to less investment, and greater divorce rates, particularly of the middle-range, "it could be better" types of marriages going through a rocky time.

Additionally, with NF laws, a divorce can be granted over the objections of one spouse, who is not at fault. It used to be assumed that the contract could only be broken for a good reason. Now the contract is more of an agreement to live together "for now", and can be broken at any time, by either party.

If you had a business partner, what kind of contract would you prefer? A real one? Or an "until I change my mind" contract? Which business partner would you trust more?

Hmm gee, let me chew on this...
The most offensive thing you can do to a feminist is treat her with FULL equality.
