I can see no excuse or mitigation for anyone murdering a baby.

As for women who do it, they are usually either reviled or sympathised with.

Angela Shanahan, a journalist, wrote an article (I will try to post it here soon) just today about the move against shared parenting that is happening in Oz.

She mentions that one 'excuse' used by the feminists is the incident last year where a man dropped his little girl over the Westgate Bridge. It is used to show how men cannot be trusted with children.

She goes on to point out that those same feminists never mention the woman who only a month later threw her baby off the same bridge at the same spot.

Cases such as this only serve to reinforce how a two-tier system of law is all pervasive regarding the sexes.

If the child in the aforementioned piece is said to have received justice, albeit posthumously, then what of those children murdered by mothers in similar circumstances who walk free?

Is this not the sickest example of female privilige manifesting itself, whereby the murdering mother takes legal and sympathetic precedence over the murdered child itself?

I wonder in percentage terms how the 'intrinsic' leniency of the judiciary towards women who murder their children aids and abets the conscious or unconscious decision to undertake such a dark path? Deterrents anyone?

I just can't not wrap my mind around how any parent male or female can cold bloodly murder their children, it's enough to make one say the world is fucked eight ways from sunday.
