Let us be clear about these statistics: gender-equal partner abuse is not a new phenomenon, it is nothing that hasn't be going on for many years:

A similar proportion of men and women reported experiencing spousal violence during the five years prior to the [2009] survey. Among men, 6.0% or about 585,000, encountered spousal violence during this period, compared with 6.4% or 601,000 women.

Each year the report has a different focus. This year, the focus of the report is on self-reported incidents of spousal victimization from the 2009 General Social Survey on Victimization.
In addition, using police-reported data, the report also presents information on family violence against children and youth, family violence against seniors (aged 65 years and older), and family-related homicides.

No surprise is that "The rate of physical assault [on children] was similar for girls and boys." However, boys do have it easier in one way: "In 2009, the rate of family-related sexual offences was more than four times higher for girls than for boys." When it comes to the older population, however, a surprising fact emerges, especially when considering that there are significantly more older women than older men due to the death gap: "the overall rate of violent victimization was higher for senior men than senior women..."

Being an mra in Canada is similar to being a coyote that kills a sheep everyday.Chastized,hated and hunted down.

The problem with too many is they would rather do things the easy way and just let things ride untill it happens to them.

Not their problem.

Doing the right thing doesn't even cross the mind of many,untill the bias laws effect them personally,untill then they will just pretend it isn't happening and the SOW will continue making more laws villifying men while being totally unopposed in their mission to do so.

Even people who have been raped in every way,shape and form by the anti-male family courts would rather just stay silent than actually say anything about what has happened to them.

Seems many father's are perfectly fine with being raped up the ass.

Which is why sometimes my mood swings into the,"men deserve everything they get",mode.

Now that think about it,one other thing about Canadian mra's,they all think they can work by themselves and it is their own way or nothing.

I have experienced this for a few years now,just try and get a few canadian mra's to work together-never happens and there is even outright refusal to do so.

This one has that group and his way,the other one is on his own,yet other's feel they are far to good for everyone else and have proclaimed themself as some sort of leader who will not work with,or even acknowledge other mra's or groups idea's.

We have scattered groups all across the net who want their very own website(when they can afford one),yet when I offer free usage of such,they refuse...wtf?

Individual defences and attacks are ok but what can anyone really do with out back-up?

Individually we don't have a chance and will be picked off one by one,together we could and can have a voice.

You have Canadian people like gww and jto who have been promoted by the chosen few as they are some type of mra god's,where the average Canadian mra is generally ignored and left on their own with no acknowledgement or co-operation from ANY other Canadian mra.

JTO and GWW may be good at lecture's and getting the message out but I have to ask,has iether one of them ever actually written a letter to anyone of importance or concern on our issue's?


Canadian activist's are their own worst enemy.


I used to say to a lot of people who would refuse to be vocal about men's issue's,"Thats ok,I will do it for you".

I have learned now, that being on my own at least I can count on myself.

I am glad to see he is active again,seems to have been mia for the last couple months.

Not only is it good seeing a catalyst which has thrown the most words thrust forward from our valued member Outdoors. But it reinforces a discriminatory position we've always held.
