4 -year-old Accused of Improperly Touching Teacher

BELLMEAD- A four-year-old hugged his teachers aide and was put into in-school suspension, according to the father. But La Vega school administrators have a different story.

Damarcus Blackwell's four-year-old son was lining-up to get on the bus after school last month, when he was accused of rubbing his face in the chest of a female employee.

The prinicipal of La Vega Primary School sent a letter to the Blackwells that said the pre-kindergartener demonstrated "inappropriate physical behavior interpreted as sexual contact and/or sexual harassment."
Blackwell says it's ridiculous that the aide would misread a hug from a four-year-old. Blackwell wrote to administrators demanding that the whole incident be expunged from his son's academic file because his son is too young to know what it means to act sexually.

David Davis, the executive director of the Advocacy Center in Waco tends to agree with Blackwell. He says assuming the boy has not had sexual encounters, or been inappropriately exposed to pornography, most four-year-olds are sexually innocent.

Blackwell got a response from the La Vega administration. The sexual references on the discipline referral were removed. But the thing that makes Blackwell most upset is they told him "your request for an apology by the aide and removal of all paperwork regarding this incident is denied." Now the young student's file will refer to the incident as "inappropriate physical contact." And Blackwell says he will continue to fight the district.

La Vega I.S.D. administrators told News Channel 25 they couldn't comment on this case because of student privacy issues.

Of course the four year old is sexually innocent. He most likely has no or hardly any knowledge about sexual things. Filing sexual harrasment against a four year old child is retarded! Stupid boy-hostile schools.

At four, he isn't responsible for answering to these charges. IF he is exposed to something age inappropriate at home, that WOULD need to be addressed. But why would someone see a sign that could mean he is being abused at home as a sign that he is bad? If this was a little girl acting in a way that might be interpreted as sexual, ALARM BELLS would go off, that is VERY often a sign that the child is sexually ABUSED. Let's just take him to court, he is a boy, who will become a man. Who cares about the poor dear? Who will protect him?

We all know what would happen if a li'l girl told her parents about her hugging a male teacher and her experience with what her head rubbed up against.

It cannot be said enough, if you love your kids, keep them out of public schools. There is no reason to send them to those mind dungeons and no end to the list of reasons not to. Children are better off growing up illiterate. Besides, everything kids learn in 12 years of school can be learned at home in about 6 years, and everything the average person learns in college in 4 years can be learned on one's own in about 1 year.

90% of what I learnt at school was a total waste of time, as I have never used what I learnt.

Here in the UK, the gypsies take their children out of school at about 11 years of age, as by then they have learnt basic English and Maths etc.

This is definitely true. I learn so much stuff before I had a class on it college. Made the place seem REALLY stupid and pointless. What happened to apprenticeships?

Yes, we need to bring back apprenticeships! I agree. Kids should start working full time in their teens. "Education" just prolongs their childhood. They could learn much more by working and would be earning money instead of wasting taxpayer's money.

The whole incident is so ridiculous, it does not deserve a comment from me, save that the woman who made the charges has some serious mental issues unresolved in her life, and is taking it onto the little boy.

Dylan I am totally on the same page. By the time I was 18 I knew more than my instructors at the local college yet "college is the way one has to go". They keep you there to social condition you so you have the same mindset as everybody else. Feminism runs the schools and it is sad. Women are taught to be victims of the patriarchy and men are taught to be punching bags. Ive been in the schools long enough to know the level of saturation feminism has in it...

So now it's illegal to give a teacher a hug? Then people will wonder why kids are becoming assholes.

Half the stuff they teach you in school (especially high school) won't apply to real life anyways

Most 4 year olds have no clue what sex is, never mind harassment. Unless you live in sexually liberal Europe.
