What is 'misandry' and what is 'anti-misandry'?
Misandry is the hatred of males as a sex, as opposed to misogyny, the hatred of women; or misanthropy, hatred of the human species. Misandry comes from misos (Greek μῖσος, "hatred" + andr-ia (Greek anér-andros, "man". Those holding misandric beliefs can be of either sex. Thus it holds to common sense that Anti Misandry is to work toward removing misandry from our culture.

Can you give me some demonstrations of misandry?
Sure. Have a look at the second-wave feminist view of men for an example. Valerie Solanas, the radical feminist who shot Andy Warhol in 1968, provides a famous example of misandry in her self-published SCUM Manifesto. In case you're wondering, SCUM is an acronym for 'Society for Cutting Up Men', practically a call for gendercide, the culling of men. Quite literally, Solanas expressed her desire to "institute complete automation and destroy the male sex."

Wow, this is pretty bad stuff - what can I do about misandry? For one thing, you can stop accepting it as a ...

“Men-Tell Health Because Silence is Deadly”

Hamilton to Toronto Fundraising Walk for Men’s Health and Welfare

We are pleased to announce that Dan Perrins and his canine companion Jeb, will be participating in Canada’s national Mental Health Week this year. The way Dan has chosen participate is to walk from outside of Hamilton to Queen’s Park Toronto. He has dedicated this walk to his older brother Anthony Perrins who killed himself on May 8, 1982 and Earl Silverman a friend and fellow human rights advocate, who killed himself on April 26, 2013.

Dan himself has been diagnosed with Post Traumatic Stress disorder and is familiar with the current mental health system in Ontario. His dog Jeb is part of his therapy for PTSD.

He’s called it the “Men-Tell Health Because Silence is Deadly” walk in the hopes of encouraging men to reach out for help. He also wants to raise awareness about the lack of help for men who do reach out.

Jeb and Dan will start in Dundas, just outside of Hamilton, and walk towards Toronto. They’ll be stopping at city halls of the municipalities ...

I am thrilled to announce the band Thirteen, from Washington DC, has
voiced their support for the men's Men-Tell Health Walk to Toronto. I
enjoy Thirteen's brand of hard rock and they will be on mine and Jeb's
    playlist of walking music.

The band was formed by “The Architect”, guitarist and Justin Beiber
antichrist, Dan the Mahanger. The mission: Make bad ass music in the
same caliber of Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, and Guns n Roses with a
blast of 13 mixed in. (Note to the band, on behalf of Canada let me
apologize for Beiber - Dan) For more background info on Thirteen, go
    here: http://www.thirteenband.com/story/

Thirteen has also just released an album and has asked for a little help
from us. They'd like us to help them pick a new song to be released on the
radio, so please drop by the following link and let Thirteen know which
song you think they should pick: http://www.thirteenband.com/

Once again. thanks to Thirteen for supporting our walk to raise
awareness and letting us know that men matter.

Well I always post new blogs on Antimisandry first, so I see no reason to stop just yet. I was asked elsewhere to write a brief description of each of the main doctrines of feminist belief and each major point of advocacy and then follow with my own take on each one. It is a little sad to me that this will probably be my last blog on AM.

*Feminism is built upon a foundation of three core articles of faith. All subsequent feminist theory can trace its origins back to one or more of these three fundamental doctrines.*

    *(I) Patriarchy:*

All feminists believe in the concept of “patriarchy.” This is basically the assertion that women have always been oppressed relative to men, and that men have always been privileged relative to women, and that societies were deliberately engineered by men to ensure this outcome. Feminists believe that we still live in a “patriarchy” albeit to a lesser extent today.

*(II) Gender as a social ...

    3. Parental Alienation Syndrome

November 20th, 2014 is a day of mourning for millions of displaced children and alienated parents around the globe.

To celebrate the 25 anniversary of the implementation of the Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC) is an aberration. The CRC is the most deceiving and cruellest international treaty in history. November 20th will be remembered as the day when parents lost all kind of rights and children began to be forcefully orphaned while their parents are alive. All member states of the United Nations, with the exception of the United State of America, South Sudan and Somalia, have signed and ratified the CRC.

Under the disguise of children's rights and protection, corporations, governments and a host of independent entrepreneurs have created empires without borders for generations to come. Those merchants' only product are alienated and stolen children, shuffled around innocent creatures, over-medicated minors mercilessly traded and finally sold in the adoption market.

According to the CRC, it is the best interests of children to have maximum contact and positive healthy relationships with parents, yet The Committee on the Rights of the ...
