What is 'misandry' and what is 'anti-misandry'?
Misandry is the hatred of males as a sex, as opposed to misogyny, the hatred of women; or misanthropy, hatred of the human species. Misandry comes from misos (Greek μῖσος, "hatred" + andr-ia (Greek anér-andros, "man". Those holding misandric beliefs can be of either sex. Thus it holds to common sense that Anti Misandry is to work toward removing misandry from our culture.

Can you give me some demonstrations of misandry?
Sure. Have a look at the second-wave feminist view of men for an example. Valerie Solanas, the radical feminist who shot Andy Warhol in 1968, provides a famous example of misandry in her self-published SCUM Manifesto. In case you're wondering, SCUM is an acronym for 'Society for Cutting Up Men', practically a call for gendercide, the culling of men. Quite literally, Solanas expressed her desire to "institute complete automation and destroy the male sex."

Wow, this is pretty bad stuff - what can I do about misandry? For one thing, you can stop accepting it as a ...

Well I always post new blogs on Antimisandry first, so I see no reason to stop just yet. I was asked elsewhere to write a brief description of each of the main doctrines of feminist belief and each major point of advocacy and then follow with my own take on each one. It is a little sad to me that this will probably be my last blog on AM.

*Feminism is built upon a foundation of three core articles of faith. All subsequent feminist theory can trace its origins back to one or more of these three fundamental doctrines.*

    *(I) Patriarchy:*

All feminists believe in the concept of “patriarchy.” This is basically the assertion that women have always been oppressed relative to men, and that men have always been privileged relative to women, and that societies were deliberately engineered by men to ensure this outcome. Feminists believe that we still live in a “patriarchy” albeit to a lesser extent today.

*(II) Gender as a social ...

    3. Parental Alienation Syndrome

November 20th, 2014 is a day of mourning for millions of displaced children and alienated parents around the globe.

To celebrate the 25 anniversary of the implementation of the Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC) is an aberration. The CRC is the most deceiving and cruellest international treaty in history. November 20th will be remembered as the day when parents lost all kind of rights and children began to be forcefully orphaned while their parents are alive. All member states of the United Nations, with the exception of the United State of America, South Sudan and Somalia, have signed and ratified the CRC.

Under the disguise of children's rights and protection, corporations, governments and a host of independent entrepreneurs have created empires without borders for generations to come. Those merchants' only product are alienated and stolen children, shuffled around innocent creatures, over-medicated minors mercilessly traded and finally sold in the adoption market.

According to the CRC, it is the best interests of children to have maximum contact and positive healthy relationships with parents, yet The Committee on the Rights of the ...

When people ask me how can I be divorced with two children and pay no child support, I tell them I took a cue from Nancy Reagan; I “just said no.”
I took the road less traveled. One that more men should be allowed to travel.

For the past 13 years, I have been fortunate to be a full-time musician. Since the time of our daughter’s birth in 2003, I was at home with her during the day and working at night. Three years before my marriage ended, my wife and I agreed to switch roles. In order to make this arrangement work, I was extremely ambitious and found a way to work a 9-5 job as well as teach, perform in an Off-Broadway show and perform in weddings and corporate events. I paid all the bills while she took care of our daughter.

After two years of trying to fit back into the corporate world, I noticed a lack of communication between my wife and I. My focus was on our family; her attention appeared to be on the social calendar. My frustration with ...

The parent, or not the parent?
However, it is possible to tell the CSA that you're not the parent. According to the same UK government website:
When someone denies they’re the parent of a child, the Child Maintenance Service or the CSA will:
    • ask them for evidence proving they’re not the parent
    • tell the other parent what’s happened and ask for evidence to prove parentage
They do not, however, commit to actually doing anything about it even if the other parent fails to prove parentage.

Should a man dispute that he is the father, then bureaucracy triumphs: if the amount the CSA want from him has not been calculated, he can withhold payment but if they have already worked out how much they want off him, he has to keep paying until the matter is sorted out.

The government makes it very clear about what will happen if the disputed parentage is proven and no payment has been made: "If the person is found to be the parent, the amount of child maintenance they have to pay will be back-dated." So, one might think that in the opposite case, where the parentage is disproved and payment has been made, the money will be refunded. Well, not necessarily, and the government makes this statement:
Named person proves they’re not the parent...
Refunds depend on the circumstances of each case.

Ironic Misandry is a Thing, and we’re confused

    By Ron Collins @framersqool
    Aka Rof L Mao Esq. @ ANTIMISANDRY.com

YES, THERE'S EVEN A HASHTAG on Twitter for it, you guessed it : #IronicMisandry.

The term may have originated with a blog piece in Slate.com by Amanda Hess, but it may have been in circulation prior to that, I can’t keep up with every trendily trending trend that happens along in social media.

    Posted verbatim on Antimisandry Forum:

    "Ironic Misandry", seriously

Ironic misandry: Why feminists joke about drinking male tears and banning all men.

But recently, while on Twitter enjoying the #WomenAgainstFeminism hashtag queues and others (#FeministDictionary, #HumanityAgainstSexism), I began noticing early on that people male and female both were asking various apologists of feminism to clarify their views or cite examples, whereupon the
