It's not only a Texas Longhorn symbol. It's a symbol that is associated with metal music like heavy metal, death metal, power metal, etc.

Yeah, my parents are very religious, and so I thought that they would get mad at me if I made that symbol at the power metal concerts that my band has, so we don't make that symbol at our concerts (even though our fans do), and I didn't make that symbol at the (one) power metal concert that I went to besides my own concert because of the concern that you talked about Rob York.

It is also a sign made by members of the Royal Antediluvian Oder of Buffalos, and the Barnstable Bird Watchers, not to mention the Hong Kong Cricket Association.

You again ignore that President Bush is a Texan. He was 2 time Governor of Texas. He made lots of money doing business in Texas. He grew up in Texas. He owned major league sports teams in Texas. Whenever he has a chance he gets away from the White House and spends time driving his pickup on his ranch in Texas.

Whatever else President Bush may be doing at the time, his mind may be drifting to Texas and to the upcoming University of Texas football/basketball/etc game this week. His hand may be absentmindedly following his mind and rooting for the team he would like to be out rooting for. Just because his official duties send him to some official apperance doesn't mean you can take the TEXAN out of the President.
