I'm sure it's true what he writes, but I saw a report once about a guy who was sent to prison for car theft or something, and was used as a prostitute inside the prison. He came out with hiv. He was completely broken. Held on to some religious group for moral support.

maybe that's an exception to the rule?

Could be. I'm not sure if there's any data on this: sexual abuse in prison.

Good Read Bola!The fact is I have met ordinary men who have been put in prison for little or nothing.I met one who was sent down for contempt of court.

These days there is the awful threat of false allegations.
Again this seems to me an issue of the prevailing indifference to male suffering.

Horriffic - this does go on more than we are told.Ever notice the media who are vigilant about reporting sex crimes are very coy about reporting this.Why I wonder?

Heres the experience of one guy who ended up in prison in the UK. That will teach him to be a bad boy. Only thing is the naughty corner is not so nice if you are amale or worse still a dad. It's not me by btw! Why does it remind me of Midnight Express! In other comments he says he signed over his half of the house to his wife (in a moment of weakness). He's still married 3 years after separation. He lives in bedsit and has 18k debts for legal bills. The females on this site roast him whenever he appears. They say he's bitter!




My experience was this - June 2005, I won a contact battle, saw my children for the first time in a year. That was my last meeting with them

One week later, she started to mess about because my children actually had a fun time with their daddy.

Took that crap for 4 weeks & finally I snapped. I went to the in laws house, who wasnt in (I knew that) & spoke to a neighbour who I have known since I was a child.

Next day, I was arrested.

Judge didnt even look at order, said prison straightaway.

spent one week in prison, was slashed, burnt with a ciggarette lighter, they tried to extort me for a thousand pounds.

When sentencing actually came up........ I was told by a different Judge, that my case was very extraordinary........ but I should have known that by talking to neighbours it would get back to my ex.

We were childhood sweethearts & lived five minutes apart. I used to play with my ex when she was six..... her neighbours are mine.

For this I was put in prison......

Lifes fine in a kind of way, 3 yrs on....... but occassionally when I think about it, I do get angry.

So very sorry for my attitude a couple of weeks ago.
