Fellow Business Executives:
As the CFO of this business that employs 140 people, I have resigned myself to the fact that Barrack Obama will be our next President, and that our taxes and government fees will increase in a BIG way.
To compensate for these increases, I figure that the Clients will have to see an increase in our fees to them of about 8% but since we cannot increase our fees right now due to the dismal state of our economy, we will have to lay off six of our employees instead
This has really been eating at me for a while, as we believe we are family here and I didn't know how to choose who will have to go.
So, this is what I did. I strolled through our parking lot and found 8 Obama bumper stickers on our employees' cars and have decided these folks will be the first to be laid off. I can't think of a more fair way to approach this problem.
These folks wanted change; I gave it to them.
If you have a better idea, let me know.

He didn't say he sacked them, he said they would be the first to be laid off. So presumably he'll only do it IF government fees rise like he thinks they will.

We can't become more socialistic WITHOUT raising taxes and that is right up the ally for a Democrat.

Expecting taxes to be raised is a smart bet.

...and who more deserving of "change" than those who voted for it.

At any time you can choose to pay additional taxes. The liberals can do this as much as and as often as they'd like.

I believe that I am in the best postion to decide how my own money gets spent. As opposed to some large, far away government trying to fulfill it's sound bite driven ideologies.

ahahaha do you even realize your screwed up logic here? The guy in the OP is blaming and will penalize these people. IMO, republicans are much quicker to blame.

Whatever I am not a liberal as defined by today's standards, the Obamanation was not my choice, I just think its ridiculous that all these so called conservatives are so quick to assume he's gonna raise taxes so high mid size businesses will fail, he's gonna get rid of NAFTA which will screw up trade and he will take all our guns, better go out and buy some.

Clearly what has been going on for the last 8 years was/is not working, clearly we needed some sort of change for the better, we got a change, no one knows yet how it will go yet everyone seems to want to tear it down.

He isn't Hoover, this isn't the 30's, just sayin why don't we wait and see what actually happens with the tax plan and other things he does then pass judgement.

As an aside, I am completely baffled how anyone who has a brain and calls themselves conservative or a republican can actually think taxes can be lowered or kept the same. Look at what is going on in this country - we are now the nation with the largest debt in the world... and yet I should pay less taxes while demanding more, dammit!
