    Re: A worthy milestone reached.

Perhaps it is cheeky of a newcomer to this forum to suggest answers but I'm an opinionated old sod, so I'll chip in.

    Some questions:
    1) Why are we on this forum; what are we achieving here?
    2) What are we doing that might remove social misandry, anti-male discrimination, harm against children?
    3) Is what we have been doing, making a difference; if not, do we think that to keep doing what we have been doing is ever going to make a difference?
Some pointers from an old campaigner:
    1) Most of us live in democracies. Politicians who want to stay in power will do what they perceive the majority of people in their constituency want them to do. Beyond our power in applying a vote, the direct input to most politicians is well under 0.01% of the voters. Every letter written (so long as it is clear, precise, targeted) to a politician has an effect beyond the proportion of the voter writing it.
    2) Campaigning against "them" is useless, so is revolting against "them." When we stop ourselves from thinking "they don't care" and wonder who exactly we mean by 'they' then we can determine further who is in charge of them; who controls them; or how we can their correct their behaviour.
    3) It is natural for us to see actions and try to address them. Sometimes that is all we can do. When it comes to more general behaviour in society, it is worth bearing in mind that people behave in accordance with their beliefs and emotions; their beliefs and emotions are affected by what they believe is the truth. So to alter society's general behaviour toward men and children, it is necessary to ensure that they have facts presented to them in a manner which they are willing to accept. People being told they are idiots and morons are not likely to then accept any facts presented to them.

I thought I was. If I do any more so - I'll be grunting and dribbling expression and people will be pointing to the 'caveman.'

However, if I "put the thesaurus down and speak plain" am I not throwing off who I am as an individual and merely 'pooling' into the homogenous - 'frightened' - glob that I so fervently speak against? That said, I don't proactively seek to include the thesaurus in my posts, it's just how a freestyling individual goes about his daily unfettered expression. If diversity is a problem, then that's a problem in itself.

I can understand folk opposing profanity and hate speech, but it's the weirdest scenario whereby people attempt to micro-manage ones free speech which doesn't contravene any EU mandated politically corrected themes.

I absolutely hate this 'blue-pill' herding mentality.

    Let diversity reign!

Respect how I interact into the world.

    Good post CD.
    Thanks buddy.

Without a target in life, we will, of course, never hit a target.

How about a target of sending One e-mail per week, in regards to a specific issue ? I know that many regular posters are already posting e-mails on occasions, we could encourage others to join us.

E-mails are simple and free to send.

Maybe a seperate section on the forum for this ? Just a thought others may add to it.

I had a discussion with a feminist, who is a sociology Lecturer/course leader at Blackburn college, and i managed to destroy her feminist ideas propaganda, and i learnt how to do that here, reading other men's discussion's and using fact's from here, this was done in front of a other men, maybe that will bring more men to our camp, and thus to be educated.

I would argue we've acheived many things as a collective politically/socially. The 'why' we are on this forum is not always apparent. Whenever I chat with a frustrated member I have acheived much.

We're on this forum because we give a shit!

I do CD, and I don't mean to take away from that by making jest and poking fun. If I didn't see the theory behind the words I'd ignore them.

    Re: A worthy milestone reached.

Though I respect CD's right to speak in any fashion he so sees fit, I do believe his words could reach a greater audience if we had a CD translator built in to this site.

    e.g., I'll rewrite this one:

However, if I "put the thesaurus down and speak plain" am I not throwing off who I am as an individual and merely 'pooling' into the homogenous - 'frightened' - glob that I so fervently speak against? That said, I don't proactively seek to include the thesaurus in my posts, it's just how a freestyling individual goes about his daily unfettered expression.
"However, if I speak in layman's terms I risk losing my individuality and becoming one of many 'sheeple'. While I don't go out of my way to include extravagant words, I'm free to do so if I wish."

Again, CD is spot on - he IS free to speak as he wishes and we don't hold any monopoly on how others should address one another, aside from asking for civility and manners which I would hope comes naturally to most here... Nonetheless, I think my choice of words (above in italics) is a lot more digestible to the average Joe Bloggs out there than CD's choice... many might find themselves skipping the posts to save the brain-ache of chewing each word by word and then putting it together at the end.

For clarity's sake, we should seek to make ourselves understood by the majority... but perhaps not at the cost to one's freedom of expression. I believe CD's wordiness derives at least in part from his name & avatar... it's a reflection of an age-gone language, but the message remains regardless.

The most offensive thing you can do to a feminist is treat her with FULL equality.
Wife : "I dreamt they were auctioning off dicks. The big ones went for ten dollars and the thick ones went for twenty dollars."
Husband : "How about the ones like mine?"
Wife : "Those they gave away."
Husband : "I had a dream too...I dreamt they were auctioning off pussy. The pretty ones went for a thousand dollars, and the little tight ones went for two thousand."
Wife : "And how much for the ones like mine?"
Husband : "That's where they held the auction."

English isn't my primary language, so i have always found Celtic Druid's posts difficult to read. Osho's posts are difficult to read too, but for a different reason.

And I think we are here as a counterbalance to the feminist websites, spreading the word about men's issues and misandry.

Ah yes, you are not alone..

I have been coating the rot for more years than I care to remember but find solace in some very interesting outcomes..

    Paul's site is rocketing..

The majority of men's sites have grown exponentially..

Even my own humble blog will hit One Million Hits over the next week while feminist blogs and sites are dying..

Hey, it was a movement anyway, one that determined by natural selection will die when women wake up to the destruction they will have to bear..

We will win and we will destroy that male hating organism while we live, never fear..

    NEVER FEAR..

well I dig the way you write CD. Whenever I read your posts I consider it my vocabulary lesson for the day. (that may not be the worlds biggest compliment coming from one who lives in one of the dumbest states in the union....... ) I for one am gonna incorporate the word "contravene" into my speech today. Thanks CD!
