(FTR: Both my husband and I use Old Spice Body Wash for Men. He likes it, I like it, and its cheap. Though he says I bought it because the ad on the back says, "Guaranteed not to wash away any testosterone!")

During Desert Storm we used to cut up panty hose and then wear them to keep sand out of our crotches and behind the knees and elbows.
And now you know my horrible cross dressing past............Don't look at me that way!!! LOL

Hehehe Chevalier I would whistle but that would be harassment. Oh wait, did that statement make you feel harassed? Erm.. nevermind. Sorry.

I'm not one to keep a cupboard full of grooming products, but to each their own. I don't blame men for wanting to use products that smell and feel nice because I like them too. There is no reason for a guy to feel ashamed because he likes chocolate scented soap.

I use whatever the hell is available and affordable. Generally though, male grooming products aren't all that difficult to find...

What does a chap need with 'products' when he can smoke a pipe and dab a bit of Glenfiddich under his armpits?

Myce whistle if you want to it will stroke my male ego!!!LOL
David it was that or have my naughty bits be ground down to nothing and when you sport as little as I do it needs to be protected as much as possible besides you haven't lived until you've been in a pair of silky smooth and very sensual panty hose. Hell I mat go get a pair now. LOL
We used to cut the legs of and then cut the legs into two peices and put the panty part where you would imagine and the other parts over our elbows and knees to keep the sand from collecting and gauling us. Now if I could have found a good way to keep the sand fleas and mites away I would have been far happier.

Re: "Women's Beauty Products Men Use"

Pesrsonally, I cannot stand waliking past a "hairdresser salon" let alone actually sit in one..

I had the displeasure of having to pick up a daughter from one of those dens and I just could not handle the smell, the noise and the chemicals that those women are contaminating their hair with.

    Never again..

Got me a barber. A barber is a men's hair specialist, been around for centuries. Spoke to a female "hairdressing artiste" last year and discussed the "barber" with her and all his merits.

She said " One hour with a barber is worth more than a week with a hairdresser, he is the expert on how to cut hair". I even know some women that attend barbers only as they know the difference..

I've never been in a "beauty salon", believe it or not. Years ago when I had short hair, my Dad would take me to his barber and he and I would both get haircuts at the same time. His barber knew how to cut women's hair too, and so it worked out good. That was the only time I ever went anywhere to get anything done to my hair.

Since Dad died, I have let my hair grow, and its down to my waist now. When it needs trimming, my husband does it for me. Long hair is a lot of work when it comes to washing/drying, but otherwise its easier to manage and cheaper too.

..you know I was teasing Chev. That is something the military really should sort out.In the woods in europe mosquitoes and midges are annoying wee bastards.
When I go out hiking I apply lemon juice or DEET to keep critters off. I have been feasted on by ticks as well so I dont blame the warrior Chev for using resoucefullness. Mind you I wonder what the government offices would think seeing the army ordering panty hose?

Well Chev, since you went first....
When was into winter mountaineering I used to wear my wife's tights (the thick wooly kind) underneath the Gor-Tex and duck-down pants. Thank God I never had occasion to be rescued and helicoptered to hospital.

Not wrong Christian. Getting a haircut was always a chore till I came here. Filipino barbers are experts in massage too (not the funny kind). Haircut, shave and massage (plus watch the telly, read the paper) costs around 35p (70c) but another 20p tip is expected. I tip generously - any guy hovering over me with a razor deserves respect.

Nah, Yan. You would have been in good company. I used to work with 22 Sqdn SAR out of Valley in Anglesea (Mona Mam Cumri) and all the guys wore tights when doing mountain rescue. Its bloody cold in an open-doored chopper in winter.

Is there a self-help organisation for people like us?

If not there bloody well should be! Think of the psychological damage we must have suffered!

I suggest PUFFWUSS - Practical Uses For Fielding Women's Underwear - Silent & Secret.

Chev can head the N.American chapter.
