Women in the Men's Rights Movement
Don't agree with the second part of that comment, nutsack. Women have an important role in the men's right movement here on AM and elsewhere. They are here because, unlike feminists, they have minds of their own. Feminism promotes rigidity of mind, stunts the capacity for free independent thought and operates through a sort of collective hive mind. Let us not become like that.
Unlike feminism's more-equal-than-thou mentality, we are supposed to be supporting real equality. I do, however, agree that there is no place for manginas here.celtish - Just my twopenn'orth

Re: Women in the Men's Rights Movement
I think women belong in the MRM and are important to it because they add to the collective voice of outrage at what feminism has done.
Also I feel they help mitigate the rage many of us feel at how we are treated. Deep inside of me there is a wish that the patriarchy really did exist because then we could seek it out and give men all the power and women will live as they claim they have been living all this time.
But there is a part of me that wants justice and to go from being oppressed to being the oppresser just doesn't sit well with me. Now I know that so long as women have equal rights there will be tension between the genders but I could live with that if I could just be a father again.Chevalier.

Re: Women in the Men's Rights Movement
As far as the MRM goes, true, it is the men's movement and a woman, no matter how empathetic she is, can never really understand what it feels like to be a man in today's society. She should, however, as a human being, care about the injustices that are affecting her fellow human beings. She should care that society is attacking her father, brother, husband and son. That said, antifeminism is one of the major issues within the MRM and women have as much cause as anyone to be anti-feminist. Those of us who clearly see feminism understand what it's done to all of us, men, women and children, and we SHOULD stand up against it. Personally, I see no reason why men and women should not present a united front against feminism, afterall, it's an evil that has affected all of us. Long before I'd ever even heard of the MRM, I was an anti-feminist, and although I was unaware of any form of movement, I supported men and spoke out about the the injustices in media and government against them. How delighted I was when I found out there was an actual movement going on of people who felt very much as I did.
"Every noble impulse, every unselfish expression of love; every brave suffering for the right; every surrender of self to something higher than self; every loyalty to an ideal; every unselfish devotion to principle; every helpfulness to humanity; every act of self-control; every fine courage of the soul, undefeated by pretense or policy, but by being, doing, and living of good for the very good’s sake—that is spirituality." -David O. McKay

I don't want to get all gushy, but you Kim and the other ladies here have given me hope that there really are reasonable mature women out there who think for themselves.
I don't believe anti-feminism = misogyny. Surely the men's movement is big enough for all who believe in justice and decency regardless of plumbing.Feminism = Fear + Flattery

Re: Women in the Men's Rights Movement
Better believe it negatively affects women too. We housewives are often looked down upon...the feminists think we're crazy for wanting to stay home with the children.
I think feminism is based on selfishness. How about that line "no one's happy unless Mom is happy?" Balderdash!

Re: Women in the Men's Rights Movement
Common Sense people ....thats what I have read above and ultimately that is why feminism looks more and more absurd and is exposed as morally bankrupt . It never was really about women or justice.
I agree with the above and the realism described so well by Chevalier,
all very well put.
For me this is about an end to hatred. Martin Luther King was against the injustices against black people he did not become anti white...For me thats real dignity and really overcoming the nonsense without ending up like the very characteristics associated with feminism. So lets keep awy from the the misogny - to me all hate is wrong out its ugly and has no place.I still hear offensive very offensive remarks and I still find myself not trusted etc .
I fight hard against the anger I experience in all this.Anger is only destructive. I am starting to voice my deep disappointment with misandry, and all the numerous insults and injustices. To express it them excuse yourself from any offending company engaging in man bashing- is more effective tham yelling and roaring -and it will leave a more lasting and thought provoking effect on your company...
A real sign for me is watching the warmth between the good women on this forum interacting with friendship and warmth and look at the diversity of folks. You have a Americans, English,Irish, Canadians,Aussies ,etc...etc different religions and none...It aint perfect harmony, between all of course but it shows for me hope for a better future...
The feminists are worried about the numbers of women seeing through their essentially lesbian orientated political movement.
Not only that honey attracts more than vinegar..feminism is a disease the Doc is working on a cure. Symptoms include compulsive liar, constant aggression, allergic to logic, often affects women who are fat with short hair and big earings, but can be normal looking.
Reason tablets three taken daily. If the sufferer displays shaming tactics double the dose. Remarkably the illness disappears in disaster zones.

Re: Women in the Men's Rights Movement
I just don't look at the men's rights movement as just feminism only for men. The whole context is completely different and I think there is a real strong non-entitlement mentality in the general consensus. In fact, that sort of thing on the part of feminists is a large part of the provocation for MRAs.
So, with that said, I'm calling bullshit on "As a woman, I could never understand...." It was bullshit when black people started saying that crap to white people and it is bullshit now. If you can't understand, then there is something seriously wrong with the movement. The fact is that you can understand. Everybody can. Even the evil bitches of feminism know good and well what they are doing. It isn't ultimately about men's rights, the same way that feminism is a completely messed up near religious fervor of female entitlement under the banner of "rights", but about destroying a plague on our society.
That is why women should be here. This isn't some stupid male revival. If so, where are the damn strippers! This isn't some petty let's go out and get men a bunch of entitlements. Men don't need entitlements -- they make what they need. This is about "We've had enough of their shit!" We probably wouldn't even be here if it weren't for a large group of self-righteous bitches out there systematically attacking specifically us. The only reason any of that is in this movement in the first place is because we are giving the feminists a little taste of their own medicine and as some sort of measure of reciprocity.

Re: Women in the Men's Rights Movement
I concur with all the above. We need women, good ones, honest ones.
We also need angry men. Pointedly angry ones.
Dr. David, rightly, wants an end to hatred. But anger, controlled and directed, is needed to end it. The hatred isn't from our side - apart from the farm-boys and knaves - but from the feminazi side with their sychophantic, rent-seeking, unlaw wielding pond scum lawyers, judges, academics, psychobabblers, zoshial verkers and the like who I would put to the sword were I a Dictator. My fury on such people would know no bounds.
I don't hate them. I do wish to rid the world of them though.
Meanwhile, dreams apart, we need all the good people we can get, men and woman, to counter the bad ones. When in need of a drink to fill the soul

Re: Women in the Men's Rights Movement
I've always encouraged women to join us. They should know that when we destroy feminism, there won't be any unfairness going on. In an ideal World, the patriarchy, which is the natural human order, would take over, but this is very different to what femcunts perceive as oppression. Women should be free to do whatever they want, as long as they don't hurt anyone else, but total freedom for both sexes, will always end up with men dominating with power.
We will always attract women hatred, it's an unfortunate side effect of this fight, but all people like us can do is do what we think is right.Last edited by Feminist_Scum; 5th-December-2007 at 07:46 PM.

I'd just like to let the feminist groups know that they do not speak for me, they do not represent me, and what they're doing is just unnatural.
