I believe that the "tipping point" WRT to the MSM will come when it is no longer profitable to ignore men's voices and pander exclusively to women. When a man-bashing advertisement or product becomes the kiss of death to a company's profitability. Until that happens, men are living in a fantasy world if they expect anyone to suddenly start behaving ethically on this one issue when they do not on any other issue.

Yes, I believe that men have to learn to speak again in a male voice. That is one reason I include so much politically incorrect crudeness in my writing. It is similar to the way in which women have reclaimed the use of words like "****" or "bitch" and taken away the power of those words to shame them. I believe men must do the same. We are not medical students, so when we speak of a woman's genitals a non-sanitized man would use terms like "pussy" or "twat" instead of the sterilized "vagina."

The comment was made in the context of my reply to Disaffected, regarding being told what language we can and cannot use, which amounts to being told what we can and cannot say. Minors see worse things every night on network TV.

I have enough grasp of the language that a ban on the use of certain words in no way hampers me expressing myself. My point is that as long as men are afraid to offend, that they will live under the tyranny of those most easily offended.

Indeed, there is far worse on any given night on the brainwash-box, but I would like for a younger person to be able to come here and see we're a bunch of folks with some level of self-control. I'm not inferring anyone who curses is incapable of self-control, but when a rant is peppered in swearing, it certainly impacts the perception of the reader, usually negatively.
I'd like that if any parent did come along for a read of what their Son might be reading, they can see that we are interacting in a mature manner and not simply angry folks.
