Re: Wikipedia: antifeminist - the beginnings...
"The comment was made in the context of my reply to Disaffected, regarding being told what language we can and cannot use, which amounts to being told what we can and cannot say. Minors see worse things every night on network TV." Just to be clear. I have no funcking problem with any words, even less with the supposed rules of what pass for free speech in this kuntry. (Time to update the word filter, my admin friend!) What I have absolute deadly resolute resistance to is just any silly wanker trying to tell me what I can THINK! Or, how I can express what I think. In f-ing W-O-R-D-S-O-N-A-S-C-R-E-E-N! That and a parking ticket. F-ing injustices! Ban it all! |

Re: Wikipedia: antifeminist - the beginnings...
So, when you go out to say, a resturaunt or cinema, do you feel equally oppressed if you chose to loudmouth and get asked to refrain from swearing? Is there an issue whereby you cannot resist the urge to swear? Do you have a 'need' to swear profusely?
Or, do you chose to do so as a mark of hostility/anarchy? Out of the gloom a voice spake unto me. 'Smile and be happy, Things could get worse." So I smiled and was happy, and behold... Things did get worse. ►My blog / Your Blog ►Please use the TAGS to help organise the content - found at the bottom of every thread ►If you have found a website that supports predominantly male clients, click here to list it so other men may make use of it. Re: Wikipedia: antifeminist - the beginnings...
Wow great questions!
* Q: So, when you go out to say, a resturaunt or cinema ... A: I never go out. That would be a mistake. Cinema is especially irrelevant. * Q: do you feel equally oppressed if you chose to loudmouth and get asked to refrain from swearing? A: I have never been oppressed. I was raised by women who swore to be f-ing equal. Restraint was not among their qualities. * Q: Is there an issue whereby you cannot resist the urge to swear? A: Yes. * Q: Do you have a 'need' to swear profusely? A: Only when comedians confront me with f-ing silly questions. * Q: Or, do you chose to do so as a mark of hostility/anarchy? A: I prefer (actually "choose") anarchy. Q:????? A: Nothing personal. Just good fun. |

Re: Wikipedia: antifeminist - the beginnings...
Sadly I lack the linguistic fortitude that others within this, now severely off-topic, discussion clearly have. However, an ability to play seems only to detract from your obvious intellect.
To you, it's just 'good fun'. To myself, and I suspect others, I see you're trying to goad me into some childish game of word-wits or wits in general. Well, to let you know in advance, you will win. I am not a competitive person, I never have been. So, please take your trophy and feel free to stick it where the Sun does not shine. I do not care for foolery of this level. If you wish to continue playing games, there's an arcade that you're welcome to use and abuse. In the meantime, I have a one year old daughter who, despite only being able to say "dada, momma, dyer, hi & heyyo", I can actively play games of this nature with. At least by playing games with her, she is learning from those games. It's not a trophy issue with her, it's a learning process. In that, she is much more worthy of my time. Out of the gloom a voice spake unto me. 'Smile and be happy, Things could get worse." So I smiled and was happy, and behold... Re: Wikipedia: antifeminist - the beginnings...
Disaffected- why are you jumping on the bandwagon in an attempt to cause unwarrented arguments?
Quit acting up and start focusing on men's rights for a change |

That's really funny! Could you please define "unwarranted?" --- Disaffected- why are you jumping on the bandwagon in an attempt to cause unwarrented arguments.... That's really funny! Before this degenerates into more naughty words I suspect zenpriest was pointing out that he makes every effort to defy political correctness in all it's forms. An admirable aim in my mind.

Though I discern no linguistic deficiency in the author's abilities to write exceedingly well. I would also agree that spending more time with daughters is always better than typing screed on an MRA site. I have two..... daughters. Perhaps you might consider creating a special thread for fathers with daughters? It is a special kind of terror to know that you have created incredibly beautiful persons that face things you cannot control, yes? |

There is currently a 'fathers forum' which Celtic Druid is the moderator of, and I'm quite certain there are no boundaries that would dampen any attempt at creating such a thread. In fact, it sounds like a damn good idea. I have three Daughters in total, of which I reside with and the other two are far away but in regular contact with me.
I also think it would make a very good 'daddy help' section if you will for new and/or expectant Fathers of Daughters (or Sons for that matter). Out of the gloom a voice spake unto me. 'Smile and be happy, Things could get worse." So I smiled and was happy, and behold... Re: Wikipedia: antifeminist - the beginnings...
Disaffected wrote and repeated several times, in response to me asking him why he jumps on the bandwagon in an effort to cause unwarranted arguments:
Quote:
But I will direct my hostility towards you if you don't stop stirring shit for the sake of it If you want a definition of unwarranted- here it is: http://www.thefreedictionary.com/unwarranted A quote reads: Quote:
I'm willing to draw a line here and move on Your next response will let me know which direction you wish to take Fred |

Re: Wikipedia: antifeminist - the beginnings...
I thought this article worthy of some slight alteration and acted accordingly..
The phrase 'Antifeminism is often equated to male chauvinism or as a movement against gender equality'.. now reads;- 'Antifeminism is often equated by feminists to male chauvinism or as a movement against gender equality'.. A subtle yet effective and necesscary addition, don't you think! |
