i like being here because it gives me something else to think about during the day. I've made alot of things in my life disapear, paranoias, and worries from arguing with you lot,

i know that your not a representative group of men, maybe you will be one day, i hope so, but i have had some of my confidence restored that men are able to stand back and not be totally dominated by what's between their legs.

everytime i learn something in here, its like a big slap in the face for my mother, who hates me and has throughout my life tried everything she can to destroy my self-esteem and confidence. I never towed the feminist line, i identfied more with my dad than her, and male things that she couldn't understand like football and astronomy. I think she secretly regrets having me, and im like a symbol of her loveless relationship with the world.

i kinda think its totally against my interests to be here, but, i've already seen where feminist street ends up, and i want to see something new. If it gets really bad i'll just put on a top hat and a fake moustache?

i dont expect men to be anything special, but i think its going to be fun watching it happen. I hope they are..

the other day i printed one of these conversations out and handed it to my mum,

she read it and the look on her face made everything worthwhile. She gets this face of hate, her eyes almost turn red, and i just had this content smile on my face. She thinks im destroying myself, she cant possibly comprehend how any woman could support a man in anything.

she hates me, what am i supposed to do, become little miss no opinions, spout out antimale hatred and end up a lonely spinster? no thanks.

It is easy to see this as a 'Men's Rights' site, particularly as it is mainly men who are here pointing out all the disadvantages that modern men have to swallow. But in the main, when all the shouting, the anger, the expressions of pain - often coming across as anti-woman - are stripped away so that the real message can be heard, one sees that it isn't about men's rights or women's, or this or that persons or group's best interest, but about Truth, Fairness, Justice and Equality.

These things have been dismantled, smashed. And these were the structures that allowed Love between men and women, a creative tension at the best of times, to thrive.

I am here because I value so many things which have virtually disappeared.

Yes - my quest started with frustration about Political Correctness, and disillusion with the women in my life, I think Angry Harry might have been the first place I came across adressing men's rights, the light came on (aha, I'm not the only one etc) - I'm a frustrated idealist, starting with Christianity as a teenager ("why don't people practice what they preach?" and so on)

I still believe that Love, Truth, Justice, Beauty etc are more than words, some kind of fool I guess...

I am here to fight two faced people like FC who say they want to help but do nothing but blame men. Those are the people who are causing 10 fathers a day to kill themselves.I'm here to try to vent off some anger and pain so that others do not have to deal with it any more than they have too. I am here because of people who claim that it is in the childs best interest to remove the father and then blame us for not being there when those kids break the law or get pregnant. I am here because when a dad can't spend time with his kids because he has to work two jobs to support two households.

I think FC like to wind us up a bit, likes the attention but thats what women do!

I think we should judge people for what they do, not what they say, because "words are cheap" as my old dad used to say..

Granted, she does talk a lot of tripe now and then (course, I never do!) and does not always have the greatest of sensitivity, but I am sure we can learn to count to 10,000.. Try and ignore some of her more obviously "challenged" posts!

Its part of the learning process, she needs to learn about us, and it MAY help us in a way if we learn about the fruit-like mental workings of a pretty normal woman..

So far, the most interesting thing I have learned about FC is that she has very sensitive nipples..
