My personal development into an activist began when I met an old war veteran in an east end café in London. This was a man who had fought at Normandy and most of the way to Germany before being machine gunned during a strafing attack by German planes. Half of his thigh was blown away in that attack yet he managed to stumble nine miles to a farmhouse before fainting from blood loss in the yard. He was found, cared for, handed over to the military and sent back to England. In other words, he was a REAL hero, with real guts. Yet, as we talked he cried as he related how his granddaughters treated him with utter contempt because if feminism.

I was so moved by this man that I went from the café to a library and began reading everything I could find on feminism. Soon after, I started to smell a very nasty rat. I read everything the media printed on the issue and 90% of it was uncritical but what they said in the press was not what I heard feminists saying. The press were telling me that men hate women, yet almost everything coming from the feminists was naked, unrelenting hatred, aimed squarely at men. The press were almost silent on this point.

Over the years I watched the effects of this propaganda on women as they began to delight in baiting men and shaming them.

Most disturbing were the subsequent effects on boys and the family. I noted a definite increase in the amount of women I saw indulging female children and smacking the boys in public. It was the same in schools with teachers seeking out trouble with boys and punishing it heavily while the girls own bad behaviour, particularly bullying, was ignored or barely punished at all. Everywhere I went I saw husbands and boyfriends subjected to abusive tirades in both public and private. In a pub one evening I saw a man repeatedly slapped in the face by a woman who was screaming, “Hit me, you coward. Why won’t you hit me?” The man sat helpless, frozen by the huge confusion in his mind. He had never been spoken too like this by a woman before and he just could not handle it. The look on his face was one of pure bewilderment and he kept repeating, “Why are you doing this Sally?” I saw much of this kind of thing growing and becoming so common it was no longer noticed by most people. I was watching the abuse of men, by women all claiming to be the abused. I could talk for hours about this kind of projection but this is not the place.

Where ever I saw families infected by feminist beliefs I watched those families disintegrate. Some of them were the families of very close friends of mine. Fifteen years ago I decided to try and do something about it. I started writing to the press (no Internet then) and TV companies offering to talk about the issues. I wrote over two hundred letters and I got no offers. I went to local council meetings and tried to talk the officials into letting use their facilities for a public discussion on the effects of feminism. They refused so I spoke out in public meetings at council premises and found many ways to introduce the subject into every kind of discussion, from planning applications to road building meetings. They banned me in the end.

I talked to people in pubs, clubs, and cafes. I chatted on buses to perfect strangers and led the conversation where I wanted it to go. My aim was to make people think about the issues a little deeper. When the Internet came along I was onto it like a flash. I opened only the second site in the world (the other was vix.com) that talked about male victims of abuse and had over 60,000 hits in the first month. That led to TV appearances and radio work which in turn led to magazine articles and newspaper interviews. I quickly found that the media wanted to take the stories of abused men and fit them to their own agendas. I was asked to lie. To ridicule male victims and to make up stories. I walked out of a chat show called, “The Trisha Show” when I overheard a floor manager tell a young couple, “After the break we have an expert on called, George Rolph. He is going to talk about so-called, “male victims of abuse.” We all know that men are not abused by women so give him a hard time.”

On another occasion I was asked to speak on a late night talk show hosted by a black guy on Radio London. It was the early hours of the morning when I arrived at the studio. The co-guest was a women who was there to promote a book written about female victims. She told me, “My spirit guide told me to write it.” Those of us who are Christian know the significance of that remark!

In the studio the black guy set out to humiliate me while he boasted up the female. I let him go on for a while and then I said, “You -- and people like you -- are the reason that male victims get no help. You are warped in the head and you misuse your broadcasting power. Talking to you is a waste of time because, like all cult members, you have been brainwashed and no longer recognise the truth. Your listeners though are smarter than you think and they will see through you just as I have. You are a bigot as bad as any racist I am no longer prepared to talk to you.” I got up and left. In the car on the way home I listened as he tried to smooth thnigs over by claiming I was unreasonable and had walked out on his show for no reason. Caller after caller told him I was right and he was a bigot. After thirty minutes of critisism from his listeners he stopped taking calls and went on a rant about politics that made no sense. He literally fell apart on air.

I have retired from almost all activism now. I had a bad health scare that turned out OK in the end but was worrying for a while. I am also dog tired and weary from trying to get men in the UK to stand up and fight back in smart ways. I still do the occasional stuff just to satisfy my own need to fight back but I have cut down drastically on the hours I work and the writing I do.

I pull few punches and I say what I think. If I am wrong I will apologise. Where I see the need to, “kick some ass” as Americans are fond of saying, in order to goad men into doing something, I will. Since retiring my emails have dropped from over two hundred a day to just about twenty a day. You can have no idea how much that means unless your inbox is just as crowded. It becomes so automatic to try and respond to hundreds of emails a day that you have no notion of how much it takes out of you when mixed with everything else. It’s only when you stop doing it that full impact of the work involved hits you.

Please guys. Get organised and fight back with imaginative and constructive ideas. Find ways to bring money into the movement and use it wisely. Get the young involved and write and write and write to everyone you can think of that needs to break free of the feminist chains. That’s everyone you can think of.

First & foremost, I cannot believe that such words could come from the linguistic contortionist we've come to know on this forum as Disaffected. There are two very good reasons for this.

It is straightforward, no origami of the scribes of any sorts - just plain. Surely we have an impostor amongst us?

Good to read this thread and I agree - by going our own way we actually teach other men and boys to do the same and in that way we will grow in force.

To my fellow Bros in this topic, I have read over all the posts here and found it to be very enlighting to say the least.
I'm new to the whole MRA movement; myself and so far I have met many intresting men and women since I have started down this path, both here and in other places on the net.
I'm ready to do what I can to help the cause and I agree that all MRA's need to unite and focus on one clear cut goal and that is simple - the complete destruction of feminism. It is a cancer that has infected the human race to affect both men and women alike and the only way this war will be won is if all right thinking men and women, who are true to their human natures, stand together with courage and the will to put feminism to death. Thereby bringing those women and men who have comitted these crimes aganist the human race to justice. That justice will be swift and merciless.

Sorry to piss on your bonfire but Ive noticed that throughout his(sorry, her)story that the groups that lie, cheat, discriminate and dehumanize usually prevail.

I disagree. Even the worst leaders and power systems have done some good, and must compromise somewhat to the needs of their subjects.

Bad news sells, boring success stories don't capture the imagination.

We will win because UNLIKE the feminist movement we DO get RID of radicals and psycopaths in our movement. The Bob Allens, Masculinist Men, and Mikeeusas need not apply here and are not welcome. We trim the fat and the worthless, the feminists do not. We are Upstanding GOOD MEN while the feminists are evil hags. We just need to keep triming the fat and showing that we are upstanding respectable men and we will win.
