    Why am I happy to be single at Christmas time?


    For a start, I don't have to deal with any shitty backstabbing in-laws.

    That itself is a fuckin' wonderful Christmas gift in it's own right.


    And I don't need worry about expensive presents for anyone. I've got only the kids presents this year. My two here had a laptop between them and my one over there has a Nintendo DS with games & accessories. They've all had well over £100 each when the laptop is split between the two. So as long as my kids (and friend/relatives kids) are sorted - it's all good

    I have a lot to be grateful for and I have to try to keep those things in mind. I'd be lying though if I said I'm thrilled to be single during Christmas or any other time of year. It would be easy enough to obtain sex if I wanted to do that but that would not satisfy me spiritually.

    I've been doing some charity work for the last couple of weeks and that helps me keep out of my head (my head can be a dangerous place to be...lol).

    I'd be the grateful recipient of those; there's nothing worse, when you're staying at someone's place, than having to worry about staining the guest bed sheets, and the guilt that comes from taking more toilet paper than you would otherwise need, when you go to the toilet.
